The tarriff plan will evidently lead to high inflation, the high inflation is a significant reason why most retirees have sleepless nights. The increase in prices of everyday items puts them at risk of running out of money. As prices rise, the amount of money retirees can withdraw from their retirement savings also increases.

The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

As a German, I didn't know exactly, although I've known all my life that American cars are very expensive here, otherwise lots of people here would be driving Mustangs. It has to be fair. If we impose 100% punitive tariffs, I demand that the USA also imposes them on our products. There is only one thing that is fair and right, free competition should regulate itself.

      Not true.
There are lots of ford cars that are sold at very competitive prices in europe. These are typically smaller cars like ford fiesta, ford focus etc
Cars that are expensive in Europe are the ones with poor gas mileage, high co2 emmissions, poorly engineered. Lets say your typical american car.
Governments try to discourage buying these cars because they are not environment friendlly.

    • @jamesmiddleton660
      @jamesmiddleton660 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

So Hector you will pay double the price for a German car in that case? Yeah right !! And to both of you, American cars, mustang for instance with 5.0 happens to be on the edge of engine technology and our emissions standards are not the reason. They sell far more European cars due to high tariffs in turn is more $$ for their country , has nothing to do with emissions. Any American car would have to meet European standards, duh !!

    • @jamesmiddleton660

Many European gear heads would absolutely love to have a mustang performance industry over there. Personally I drive Ford Super Duty and die hard Ford guy, but also a die hard BMW guy for foreign autos, I drive a BMW X5 M as well. And will absolutely not pay 100% tariffs on a vehicle from Germany that is already north of $100k.

@@jamesmiddleton660 I started out working with Ford, AMC, Jeep, Renault, went to Nissan/Datsun, Toyota all parts inventory, some parts sales, until I became the only girl selling BMW parts at a BMW/Ferrari Dealer that could help the owners of EU cars shipped here that were not the models made specifically to ship to the USA, and the only one that knew all the BMW Dinos like the old 2002s, Baverias, M3 EU Only Model because the microfilms were all in German and the guys were lazy, Besides I had those guys looking for spark plugs on diesels, muffler bearings, and carburetor parts on cars with airflow meters, and 1 guy was dumb enough to try to send a water pump out to one of my big wholesale customers without a gasket, lol! The guy that owned the first M3 shipped to the US DFW, TX even brought his Middle East wife to meet me and later sent me a glossy Kodak 24 x 48 Photo to thank me for always finding the parts he needed because he knew I loved his car. The problem with most cars made today is they keep adding more electrical monitoring systems. As far as American made cars go, most of the engines are made in Japan or with Japan parts. All this tariff stuff will get sorted out. Trump is no fool and he has given his warning to allow these countries plenty of time to decide how they want to negotiate. Myself, being a cowgirl and motorcycle driver prefer to drive one of our Dodge Rams. I like the oldest truck, the diesel long bed crew cab 4wd 2500 the best!

Back in 2017 Australia stopped making one single car due to the introduction of zero tariffs. Every pickup bought in Australia after that was built in Thailand. Thailand has a 300% tariff on imported cars and an auto worker makes about $500 per month. The mental Australian Government obviously believed that we should have competed with huge wages, holiday pays, sick leave, maternity leave, work cover insurance, short hours, huge penalty rates, whilst Thailand and others have none of this. LISTEN TO ME, anyone who opposes Trump on this, hates your country or they are dumb beyond belief. There is no such thing as a free lunch and there is no such thing as FREE Trade.

I work in electronics. You pay the tariffs. China does not. We buy the parts from China because there are no other options and we have to pass the price onto consumers. You are talking 50-60 years of building capacity to make these parts that require rare earth minerals that America is completely devoid of. Now, America is already behind. So you have to still do trade with the world because people aren’t going to sit around for 50 years and wait and we have to have the resources to build infrastructure and make parts. So then that’s 50 years of paying high prices because they will absolutely intact their own tariffs in retaliation AND massive investments to build the capacity. Where is that money going to come from??? Meanwhile, people cut the US out because China already makes what they want and America has made it too expensive to deal with us… Trump is a simpleton that doesn’t get it at all. US wont receive excess savings to feed its capital markets, so higher interest rates and more expensive to fund investments
When you hear PDB it sounds like there is no price to the changes.
Europe might want to implement capital restrictions in order not to receive the US inflation in export gift.

I would really love to buy a Ford Mustang as a resident of the Netherlands, but it's not just the tariffs that are the problem. American car manufacturers don't make cars tailored to the European market. Ford has been selling cars in Europe for decades, but for example, the emissions of a Mustang are so high that importing a 2017 Mustang comes with higher import costs due to the poor emissions of this particular model. Even a Ferrari 488 is cheaper to import into the Netherlands from Germany than that Mustang. As I said, as long as American car manufacturers do not adapt their offerings to the European market, there is little future potential for their car brands in Europe.

Ford successfully sells cars in Europe, which is a highly competitive market. When importing a car from the USA to Europe, there is a 10% import duty, not 100%. The biggest challenges that American manufacturers face when importing to Europe are the stricter standards that are much higher than those in the USA.

Now I understand the phrase "I love the poorly educated." and how he was able to fooled you twice. When the USA was the biggest market back in 19th century tarrifs worked.
