I read more of her books than any other romance authors. Her heroines can be quite funny and are such a fun to read with their antics. Almost all of McNaught's novels fit into the 'groveling' categories. But her heroes' groveling either left me in bad taste (like Whitney, My Love, the hero is a horrible arse whose hobby is to literally misunderstand the heroine, neglect her, abuse her and 'realize' the wrong doing and repeat the same cycle or like Something Wonderful or leave me unsatisfied with how they quickly give up on the heroine through a misunderstanding (Every Breath You Take, Paradise) But i do love her writing. She is an excellent writer. I dl enjoy her short stories more.
Thank You SO SO SO much for recommending "never sweeter"! I have just finished it (started it immediately after watching your video) and honestly, this was THE BEST Grovelling&bully romance I have ever read. It made me cried so hard and so much from all the emotions it brought, and it was worth every tear I shed. Seriously thank you so much for recommending it, otherwise, I would've never heard of it...
Whenever I watch one of your recommendations my TBR grows more and more, you make sound all the books so interesting! Thanks so much for your recommendations Jenn ❤️
I just discovered your channel and am slowly going through your recommendation videos and I swear this is going to kill my bank account. I love how your describe the characters and just you describing Maddek from A Heart of Blood and Ashes is making me laugh that I need to add it to my TBR now.
I loved that you threw a groveling heroine in there, as well. I love me my men on their knees begging for forgiveness, but I've never really heard anyone talk about groveling female leads before. maybe an idea for another video ;)
I was craving a good grovelling hero romance and found this video of yours. So here I'm adding your recommendation to by TBR list and ready to start reading. Thank you Soo much. 😍😍
All I wanna say is that I wished Aria from Bound by Honor/Bound by Love was on this list cause girl, she needed to grovel and actually change her behavior.
If you like sifi romance, Claimed by the Horde King by Zoey Draven does the grovel really well. I really love Dravens books and this one may be my favorite of her books. This is also a KU book.
Thanks so much for these! I LOVE Filthy Dark so much, well I love all of Serenas books but especially her Mafia ones (I have reread Filthy Hot and The Don a ridiculous amount and listened because the audio for both is 🥵) but this one is so special, my fave second chance romance!
I, too, love an A-Hole hero followed by an EPIC grovel - so good! 😍 The Day of the Duchess is truly an epic grovel, so freakin' good! I absolutely adore her sisters in this series, too. Sesiley & Caleb's story is coming out this August, if I'm not mistaken - Bombshell: A Hell's Bell's Novel. I cannot wait. One of my other favorite grovels is from *"The Princess and The Rogue,"* by Kate Bateman - Book 3 from the Bow Street Series - all three books are fantastic.
Yes, Filthy Dark by Serena Akeroyd is probably the Only time cheating, second chance romance and secret baby worked for me. They're all usually some of my least favorite tropes in romance. 😂 I'm convinced this author is also a witch as it was a 5 star read for me. I have the Mila Vane on my TBR. Very much looking forward to it. Lisa Kleypas is always so on point. Just love her historicals. Now, I've had to add Amelia Wilde to my ever growing TBR. Girl, you're wrecking havoc on my list. 😂
Hii love your videos ♥️ can you do a recommendation of books similar to "the day of the duchess" i read it after watching one of your videos and oh boy! Already read it thrice! A mine absolute favourite♥️ thank you so much for introducing me to it♥️
never sweeter it sounds like it will make me cry right? but i want to read it! I have loads of body issues i swear i have body dysmorphia even tho never been diagnosed. Also have been diagnosed with high functioning autism so school makes sense now. I really shouldn't read bully romances but i can't seem to help it
OMG- I started reading Devil and the Blue Sea based on this recommendation and it is SO GOOD. Wow. Poseidon is SUCH a good asshole. Ty Ty Ty. I am new to Amelia Wilde - are all her heroes like this?
so grateful for this video, i’ve searching for this trope recs forever try « arranged » by R K Lilley, i think you’ll like it, though groveling happens towards the end
If you want an old school grovel, Judith McNaught wrote LOTS of groveling heroes. Until You and Something Wonderful are the ones coming to mind.

Kresley Cole is my FAVORITE author. Her humor is my upmost favorite. It's never to much and it's always enough ♥️♥️
The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is what you're talking about with Ebenezer Scrooge
Thank You SO SO SO much for recommending "never sweeter"!

Great recommendations. Just got The Day of the Duchess and Prince of Dreams on Kindle. I want to read Filthy Dark too.
I loved wicked abyss and the ugly duchess 👸

I love your necklace !
You should read, It Just Had To Be You, by Jaqueline Francis. It is a beautiful grovel and I am obsessed. Love Never Sweeter as well.

Yes! Filthy Dark has so many things that i DON'T like, but they worked for me in this special case. Just goes to show, there is always an exception.
oof the catharsis of having a bully grovel at your feet💪
Have you read passions of a wicked earl by Lorraine heath? I've heard there's a major grovel scene in this book
Isn't Prince of Dreams a crazy ride? Weird but good. Have you read the first one (Emma's dad's romance)--also pretty bizarre.

I mean, Groveling Heroes is about as close as I can get. Haha! So some of these recs are gonna be your best bet.
JEN, i love your voice lol.... such a weird thing to comment, but I has to do it
