    I found that the video was very informative and very inspiring. I have just started Drop Shipping so I'm still wet under the collar. I look forward to making a business that will replace my current financial situation. I know I'm going to have failures but that is the learning process and I'm not going to stop until I achieve success. You helped thousands of people everyday with your videos and I want to say thank you for instilling inspiration, Drive, and determination for would-be entrepreneurs.

    I HEARD THE FOLLOWING IS GOING INTO EFFECT: As of September 25, 2019, the United States reached a compromise with the UPU to not withdraw from the union. However, the U.S. will now have the freedom to impose “self-declared rates” on distribution of mail from all foreign countries including China.
    This agreement goes into effect July 1, 2020 and you can bet that shipping from China will go up in price dramatically!

  • @flowcases6676
    @flowcases6676 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Oberlo, there has recently been massive news in the dropshipping world, that news being Silkroad.
    I presume all drop-shippers (most of them) myself included use your app for importing products, and it works like a charm.
    But drop-shipping is plagued by one serious problem, that being shipping times, well Silkroad has solved that problem with the 5-8 day shipping and they have a ton of advantages over anyone, custom branded invoicing, auto-fulfill, order tracking, etc...
    They will become serious competition for you guys and I personally would want to stay with you because I trust you, but I can't do that if they are better...
    I can't expect you to make a video about them, but can you please respond to this if you know something about them and will we see a better upgraded version of Oberlo?

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Thanks for your comment. It's a common misconception that shipping times plague the dropshipping industry, they don't. If you're transparent about shipping times, you can still runna profitable and sustainable business. Silkroad is a newcomer to the market, and with any new tool for your eCommerce business, it's worth doing some research before switching to it. Reddit, for example, can be a good source for reviews! 🙂 -Jessica

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there! So happy you enjoyed the video. If your customer orders multiple products from different suppliers the products will come in different shipments. If you want to avoid this it's best to use one or two suppliers so most or all of your products will arrive together in one package. If you choose to use multiple suppliers you can explain that the products will arrive in separate packages because they are shipped from different warehouses. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Kitana

    Hi Jessica your videos are gold mine :) . I have a question. I am based out of UK and want to start dropshipping from here (using oberlo of course) but my only concern is unlike US, UK charges the customer import fee for all items coming out of EU. How can I integrate custom charges in my store through oberlo so that customer only pays what he sees in my shopify store?

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Karen! First off thank you for the comment, I'll be sure to pass it to Jessica. When it comes to import fees there isn't a way to integrate them into your Shopify account. This is because the fee is charged at the boarder and you wouldn't know how much it's going to be until it actually is charged. With that said, your products are not going to be shipping outside of the EU, they will be shipping into the EU (if you decide to sell there). If there are duties charged for the customers they would still have to pay that just as they would with any store they order from outside of the EU. You can let your customers know that your company has warehouses located outside of the EU so they will expect that charge before ordering, you can decide to sell to another country (the USA, or UK for example), or you can try to find products that are located in warehouses that are in your country (bit.ly/2zwiK2j). I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions for us. 🙂 -Kitana

    Great video! just wondering what are Saturated Products and what is Dynamic Pricing?

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! Thank you so much. Saturated products mean that theres a lot of people selling that product in that niche or market. A niche that is more saturated can be clothing since there are so many clothing stores. That doesn't mean you shouldn't sell in that niche though because within the niche there are different categories. Kids clothing, pet clothing, plus size, petit, clothes made out of recyclable materials, etc. As fas as dynamic pricing, this means that you will change the price of the products depending on how much of a demand there is. If it's in high demand you can sell it at a higher price point, if it's in low demand you might want to reconsider. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Kitana

      @Oberlo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your kind comment! Oberlo is a part of Shopify, that's the short answer! You can still use your existing site to sell Oberlo products. You'll need to use the Shopify Lite (bit.ly/20IwEIn) plan which allows you to embed Buy Buttons on your existing store. The Buy Buttons direct your website visitors to a Shopify checkout and then redirect them back to your site after checkout. This will give you access to the Shopify Admin and the Oberlo Marketplace. @davidcaudill2644 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not a lawyer or anything but in my opinion and from working online since 2009 I will say you should never use someone's name or photograph in advertising or any type of promotion on any of your website(s) or blog(s) without permission.
      To use an actor or actress's photo as if they are endorsing a product without their permission can be a serious charge. They get paid the big bucks for endorsements and from one marketer to another my advice would be just don't do it.

    Hey Jessica. What if I have an idea (researched it and have a feeling it’ll be a winner) to start up a niche store, so I get a domain name that’s exactly what the store is and I design my store to suit the niche, but then I test a product or two and they bomb, do I just purchase a new domain name and start again?

    • @daredevil1189

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! Excellent question. Yes, that's the risk of starting a niche store... What you can do is create a niche store that has an overlying theme that ties a group of products together (a domain that applies to a broader scope of products but is still niche). Otherwise, yes, you'll have to build from the ground up each time if you select a domain that is the product you're selling. Hope that helps! 🙂 -Jessica

    How do I know what to call my store?

    • @Oberlo
      @Oberlo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! Great question. Choosing a name is important for your brand and the name should reflect the people behind the brand (if you want to tell your personal story), or what the brand sells, or a general niche the brand falls into. You can be as straight forward as you want when naming the store or be more creative. It's up to you. Make a list of 5 names you like and talk to your friends to see what they like. It might help a lot to get outsiders perspective on your store name. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Kitana

      @@skingleyjoseph5402 I've got ask did you learn anything from your experience? If not then go back into your ad's analytics and tear them apart and see if you can find why they weren't converting. Did you run only one ad or did you try variations of the ad? How deep down did you drill in targeting your audience's interests? Don't look at as you wasted $50 on them ads because negativity will only draw negativity. Look at as a learning experience and make notes of your mistakes and try again.
      One thing I remember my father instilling in my mind as a young boy was "quitters never win and winners never quit."

      @@soum8975 well you can't expect tell someone that you're not trying to offend them, but tell them their info is trash. Why comment then? Why are you watching? You obviously know more than her, right?

      soum how incredibly rude. You wonder if Jessica got her info from the pros.... I guess you don't believe a pretty blond lady could be one of those pros herself?
