OK - thjs is a brief excerpt, and one can't really judge: but ----- it's not great. Can we at least agree on that? It's not ghastly, but it lacks depth - he's not ready for this music; maybe not quite ready for any music, but give him time. It would be a tragedy if he were over-promoted at the outset of his career and got trapped forever in his mannerisms. That's not a criticism of him: it is a criticism of those who seek to exploit his youth and promote him as though he were some kind of prodigy, which he just isn't. That's not his fault - few people are prodigies; but for Heaven's sake give him the space to learn and develop - he will do better than this, but only if he's given the luxury of time and space, and it would be sheer cruelty, and a denial of his talent, to deny him that.
I'm not sure what music KM is ready for! The beginning of the performance is Ok then he gets lost and you get absorbed into this sound magma: it gets boring. He just does not have the musical and other skills required to be in front of any orchestra - top, amateur or semi-professional. You see better results with unknown people with semi-professional orchestras.
But... Who are you ?..... I mean , all you guys that blabla negativly.... This director piss you in the head you know why ? Because he don't know you ans your shit
he needs to start like putting gel in his hair or something cause that sweat i can see flying off his hair like a wet dog would make me vomit down my instrument if it touched me
Classical music has become a sect. The music industry fabricates these limited-talent 'stars' who churn out cr*p, then many listeners, professionals and critics start believing that they are listening to great performances. That's mind control! It is really shocking how bad things have become! People are indiscriminate and 'gullible' as you say.
You can do better in MIDI! Great orchestra, but the performance of this chef is, as usual, lifeless; everything is too loud, there are no strata; the phrasing is wooden... Stravinsky's music is already 'mechanical' so if the performance is also mechanical, you produce a disaster. Go and listen to the videos of this work with the Concertgebouw and Andris Nelsons, the LSO and Rattle, the Berlin PO with Abbado , the Vienna Philharmonic with Gergiev, or to Ozawa's recordings. Having a top racing car driven by a bad driver is not a good idea! Go and study, Mr Mäkelä!
Fire🔥and bird 🐧get into a dance. And what a dance!
I prefer KFC 🍗 and what a bucket!
Love this🎉❤pls give us the full version!
i'm sure you can find it on the m( maekele) chanel🙂
Try listening and not watching the video. The eyes can deceive...
how
Not when it’s Klaus Mäkelä
i like how he stops bothering turning pages about a minute in and starts conducting from memory
3:35 I like how he conducts with his whole body even his hair and then his his eyes his face everything he uses to conduct is amazing to watch
Ein von besten Orchestern in der Welt!!! Merci.
Mdr
Search for Dudamel's version and then we discuss. This fragment is available on YT.
Duda and this kid are cut from the same cloth…both fake puppets for same elites
every conductor is different. Try to embrace their differences, for a more wholesome experience🙂
Mäkelä is on fire!

오....신이시여.....
hi Orchestre de Paris. One question: what was it like playing at Carnegie Hall? accoustic? audience?:-) Never been and I was very curious. Well done🙂
🔥 🕊️
Wow, Fucking hell!
0:00 D'EAUGH!
In spite of the acrobatics from the podium, a very flat footed performance.
Are you crazy??
On what grounds? A statement like that needs some explaining
Very exciting. Some of the negative comments here are very funny if not totally off base.
People leaving negative comments here talk like they really know shit or they’re as success af
hm... i don't know. maybe they do know more than shit.

Too late… sooner or later a new Joker will appear and all agencies will chase her.
Btw, it sounds horrible. A clown.
Yes just horrible

I feel sorry for the orchestra.
Yeah, it’s horrible, he actually makes them sound worse than they are…and they make him look better than he actually is…he’s a fake
Who are you?
😥🥵😂
Huhhu
All very bland! The orchestra could play it without him! He obviously spends too much time conducting in front of a mirror!
bravo well said
Exactly, he’s a fake

Poor Orchestre de Paris! There was a time when this orchestra was led by first class directors. Now they have third rate young boy destroying it...
he needs to start like putting gel in his hair or something cause that sweat i can see flying off his hair like a wet dog would make me vomit down my instrument if it touched me
Drinking beer now I see 😅😅😅 what a fake! Go back school and finish your homework. 📚
Orchestras are so gullible!!!
