I love Stayville, lol. Once Stay saw the clowns, Stayville collectively went "IT's US!!!!" we really are just a bunch of clowns. What Lee Know is painting is a character he created as a child called Jureumi, it pops up A LOT in the fandom.

I have taken over Lee Know's habit of drawing Jureumi and now have the tendency to jureumi-fy everything I see hahaha :)

樂 is a Chinese character, which has mainly 2 meanings: happiness and music. And the korean pronunciation for 樂 is 락, which sounds like rock, therefore it's placed before the Star. It's such a clever and well-thought-out title!

Actually, Pierre......many of us STAYS don't fully understand the trailers and other videos that precede comebacks. But they usually have a few Easter eggs hidden inside them, and they are always FASCINATING in a very psychological way. They are savory and mysterious and a little bit disturbing, and they leave us with delicious questions that we may or may not want the answers to.
I absolutely LOVE SKZ trailers and previews.
My thoughts about Stray Kids "樂-STAR" Prologue : im 100% sure that they talk about their Debute dreams and emotion they had before they enter to the cruel life of intustry : Felix ( its almost time for the concert ) if you notice the clock its not touching exactly the 3:25 ! The sleeping child its them and the dream of this child is the dreams that our boys they had before debuted ! but the ( REAL LIFE of MUSIC INDUSTRY ) wοke them up! and then we hear the two sides of the emotions that they had on their journey of their cariere! Felix and Chan show us the positive and the dark thoughts or criticisms that the boys had on this journey, the last shot is 8 childrens ( our boys our Stray Kids ) on stage ! and we hear the voices of Felix and Chan screaming ( Let's show them how we ROCK ! ) they dont gived up ! they fighted back the bad moments, the bad criticisms the bad thoughts and they won !

The thing with stray kids trailers is that they don't exactly make it easier to grasp the whole idea of the album that much, just snippets; especially when they are the only thing that is known. The concept is usually clearer when we get photos, album design and the teasers of the title song. You can watch the ODDINARY trailer and then Maniac; when it first came out a lot of us thought we'll be getting alice in wonderland comeback. Maxident trailer was quite artsy, new york and full of black, but the whole conept with Case143 was cute and pink, with just a little bit of black here and there. 5 star I feel like was less strong when it came to concept, more loose and general overall, but still, when the trailer came out we were clueless. NOEASY trailer left us thinking we were getting superhero/ world ending comeback and then boom superheroes but totally different vibes. They are sneaky, and we always feel like clauns at the end lol. Also march 25 is their debut date and they always inlude it anywhere they can

Yess that was a spoiler and also in this last skz family Hyunjin said that IN looked like a rock star OMG and also Seungmin tried to sing something now that I think about it 😮!!
They've also been saying "rock'n roll " out of the blue, in their lives, since around the Pilot Fanmeeting.: Lee Know in one of his Saturday commute lives, Seungmin and (?) in their collective live before the fanmeeting (if I recall well), and other times I can't remember
No one knew about this! We were anticipating but this was still a surprise. Some say it might be a single, some say it could be a repackage of 5-STAR! In any way, it still is a comeback. They usually release a trailer a month before comeback so we're pretty excited for this. The character before STAR could be read as rak in kr/jp so we can assume it means ROCKSTAR, hence a rock concept. any 325 reference pertains to their debut date, March 25 (2018).
I am guessing it will be a repackage, but I am hyped nonetheless. And the rock concept is something that Skz do really well.

It was announced last week that Stray Kids will be having a comeback in Nov but we had no official date until now. At the end of this video they have a date written in Pink that says Nov 20, 2023. So the album will be released then. That means we are going to be getting a lot of content till then. Who knows yet when and how many songs on album and how many videos will get But one thing is for sure we all know Stray Kids never disappoints. They are always killing us with something amazing and new. So buckle up and get read for your first comeback roller coaster ride. Don't try to prepare because we are never ready no matter how much we say we are. LOL

Yess as everybody said we were not expecting it so we are as shocked as you believe me !!! So 3,25 debut date ,they always do shout outs to past mvs or important dates or details in every new song ,in the bomb the time is 11,10 son next nov 10 ,in the poster on tbe wall in front of the kids it says "just feel the rock ",the bus from distric 9 ,and we stays always call ourselves clowns because everytime we try to guess the concept and we always miss all the spoilers and also cause we laugh of ourselves .😂😂

March 25th is the day of STRAY KIDS debut.
Stays are theorizing that the Clowns in the bus are a 1. A throw back to their Japanese album “Circus” 2. A representation of STAYs (because stays call ourselves Clowns because of the numerous times the Stray Kids members have played us 😹)
You may already know but Stray Kids loves wordplay. They are genius on playing with words, and the album is called ROCK-STAR. The Chinese character is ‘fun’ ‘music’ pronounced similar to ‘Rock’. Since their last album was called 5-STAR, another STAR album will it be. Let’s have ‘fun’ with this ROCK album comeback.
Stays anticipated this because there were rumours a month ago that they were going to come back in November. Usually, they drop a trailer and pre-orders a month before comeback. There are a lot of lore easter eggs in here from previous M/V's which you might not pick up on. Stray Kids has a song called Circus and likely has significance in the trailer. The bus is probably a throwback to District 9, Social Path with white blocks and maybe time-out and SCLass reference with the bomb or big clock. I don't think this has anything to do with dreams. It's been assumed there are alternate universes or parallel worlds to stray kids. it has also been theorized there are different versions of the members good and evil. Really excited for this comeback!

I think it is about overcoming anxiety regarding your goal and how it makes you go nuts. The bus and the flags might be a reference to their debut song district 9.

Ok, my interpretation, when you have anxiety you tend to have weird dreams, especially when you are anxious about an event that’s about to happen, I think that’s why the dream is half dream half nightmare.
Felix is the voice of calm and Channie is the voice of anxiety. I often have this back and forth in my head when dealing with my anxiety, one saying ‘your ok, you’re gonna be fine, no need to be worried, it’s all good.’ and then the other will come back with ‘nope, nope this is bad, I hate this, how can I escape, this isn’t going to go well.’ I used to be a performing musician when I was younger but then I developed really bad anxiety, it made performing like a kind of torture, it wasn’t as bad when I performed in a group setting, like in a choir or big band but as a solo performer it was really hard. I know that some people can take that anxiety and turn it into passion and excitement but I couldn’t seem to do that. Also them looking up at the big clock, oof yep, when I feel anxious I am super aware of time and not wanting it to get closer and closer to the event that was making me anxious, but also wanting it to go super fast so I can just get the event over and done with. I often felt trapped by time when my anxiety was heightened, like I couldn’t move or escape.
So I think it’s a back and forth between the encouragement of Lix and that anxiety of Channie and although, like Channie said ‘it’s not going to be easy’, the kid is gonna turn that anxiety into passion and excitement, making it an incredibly performance.
That sounds very good and makes sense.
Okey for the first, every new scene it is about every old-era (album): Yellow Wood, All In, Miroh, ODDINARY and we saw new map (okey skz-verse have a map of the skz road-way), but we still do not know this map, also every pose looks like the poses frome dance performances or old-music videos. Clowns was at Miroh and Circle, it is also a public meanin, bus is alwas about the way to new era, drawing from Lee Minho it is his hero (he always use this pace), Han was the first person who found the way up in Helevator and also personal bank account. They also ask us: how will the child`s concert end? Is that mean that our kids grow up and we should see somth really new? Pirate boat: at top-line music video we had a magazine cover with one peace characters (story also about the pirate boat) with three main characters on it and now we have three skz members on pirate boat, okey does it has any meaning? White calm scene about anxiet also looks like the other side of social path (decorations feel the same: people with masks also), but it is also a good.
Also i need to mentn that every new skz era has colors with their meanings, this Prologe after 5-start album has the same main color pallet black and white, but now we see more.
Bomb was also at trailer for 5-stars album like a part of Bang Chan`s world.
and also look at amazing contrast small dreammy kids and everything white and dark crazy energy, yes skz-world based on contrast and different colours of every member, aslso contrast of felix`s deep voice (felix is a sun and sunshine of stray kids) and high-note crazy Bang Chan`s voice (Channie is a strong leader with angry-wolf vibe) in english sound crazy amazing.
And also the symbol that mean rock in korean also mean happy in chinese. Hope this chaotc message help you a lil bit. kkkk

Here's the genius in skz. They are hyperaware of their career trajectory (and still manage to turn it into a universal message). This storytelling is similar to the lyrics in SIDE EFFECTS. But this time theyre not talking about baseless confidence, but the anxiety that they might not stay on top. 5 star broke records, and thats the "good dream". Now clowns, in all seriousness, can be the antis who will hijack their career but since anxiety is what they create themselves, then they are definitely the clowns who can cause a slump, a regression due to mental attacks (remember VOICES hehe). And for the pirates, you'll see a reference in their song BROKEN COMPASS...
So since they still play with 5 STAR and turn it to rock star or happy star, then theyre also challenging themselves to continue that momentum

Or knowing straykids something completely new but its Rock, chans bringing his inner mosh pit boy out and we are here for it all. I think the pirate scene (map showing the redlines, Topline talks about grandlines) may be a nod to One Piece anime (they are avid anime watchers).
I understand the character in front of Rock has triple meaning joy in Chinese, pronounced lak (almost like ROCK), also meaning excess. I just LOVE the wordplay!
Not sure about the crocheted armor., but there are knights and I.N does have a Templar cross on his hat/helmet.
I am a stay since less than a year and 24h are not enough for me to explain how much they mean to be, how much I love then and how much they changed my life. I regret not getting into rock and k-pop earlier. When I saw the prologue a few hours ago I was so confused then after some minutes I started to watch it again and again and I was so excited, nervous, literally kicking my feet and screaming. I was talking with one of my friends and we started to make a lot of theories. I came up with one, about the clock. I was thinking they might travel back in time, because I saw the bus and my mind went straight up to District 9. I knew there were some theories that I think they were even proved with the clocks from ODDINARY teaser [about Case 143?], but I forgot to look at the time. But now, watching your video and seeing the debut date I went crazy.
I watched the prologue so many times to analyse it and damn, my mind felt like it was about to blow.
Also, I have to prepare my funeral. Like....STRAY KIDS ROCK COMEBACK?!!!? I AM NOT READY, I AM NOT OKAY.
Oh, and the silhouette first I thought it's Han because in a concert during 5-STAR in Japan he had a solo while playing at an electric guitar (🛐🛐🛐), but for me and my friend seemed more like Chan's body plus the silhouette looked like it was wearing a mask, and Chan had a mask in the 5-STAR teaser.
Now I wanna say that I watch your SKZ reactions with enjoyment and excitement every time and I am really happy that you like our boys.❤

I’m learning Japanese and it was funny when I read this title which sounds literally like raku-star “樂-star” and then they said about rock-stars. So intelligent way to use characters. And yes, in Japanese it means music and happiness (or entertainment)

I was in town today when me and my friend decided to watch this, firstly we decided to watch it without the sound and then we watched it with the sound and as soon as I heard felix I literally yelped so loudly that people around us heard me and looked at me funny but I didn't care as felix, channie and binnie didn't have to do what they did to me. Also I cant wait for this song to be released either as its gonna blow us stays away

Idk if someone else already mentioned this but I couldn't find any comments about it: the whole album has the primary emotions as a theme and when they released tge tracklist ahead of dropping the album every song had either one or a combination of those emotions ascribed to them
The different sets represent the different emotions - this is also present in the MV for the title track LALALALA and it makes a lot of things clearer that are confusing in the trailer
At first I didn't understand but then ppl told me and I got behind the meaning... it really is interesting.
We don’t actually know what this is, it could be a new album or it could be a new single, we'll just have to wait and see

-The bus, is the same bus the use back in "District 9" MV to scape the district ) facility. In theory there is when they travel to another time line for the first time. I don't know how familiar are you with the lore but fan theories point that this comeback they are going back in time to District 9 to change their future.
-Clowns can be a symbolism or something else. Often Stay represent themselves with a clown emoji but at the same time back in the Circus MV we can see, I think Han, throwing the same kind of clown mask away. Some fans are pointing that it can be representing the industry as a whole and the haters, I personally doubt it because we can spot some of them also wearing the masks themselves but since there is a clone lore story who knows...
-The cracks on the walls are supposed to represent anxiety but we also have seen those cracks on past MVs

Everyone’s theories make so much more sense than what I’m gonna put on the table so please forgive my foolish dream because I know my theory is only the wishful thinking of a VIP/Stay.
There’s been alot of collaborations lately. Looking at this trailer, the first thing that came to mind is BIGBANG’s last mv last year called Still Life. After a 6 year hiatus G-Dragon (GD) promised a new solo album this year. Taeyang on his solo comeback this year collaborated with Jimin of BTS with the song Vibe and another collaboration with Lisa of Blackpink with the song Shoong. I kept hoping that if GD collaborates with anyone it would be SKZ.
The little boy in the trailer-GD trained with SM at 6 years old. At 13 he wanted to be a rapper and left SM and went to YG because they were more hip hop oriented. Bang Chan started his training at 13 with JYP. Both trained very young for many years, both musical geniuses, both producers.
BIGBANG’s Still Life / SKZ Rockstar trailer:
Both have the staged set of an old pirate ship, one covered with yellow flowers representing the VIPs and the other clowns representing Stays.
Snow- SKZ keep looking up, stars? The moon? Still Life shows the moon full of snow.
Rockstar, anyone that knows GD knows he can make good rock songs “Crooked”, “Sober” and we know SKZ has great rock songs as well.
Since his promise of a new album this year, we’re already in October. There’s not much time left. Will both GD and SKZ release their new songs in November? Will they collab? We also know that Changbin’s and Felix’ favorite idol is GD.
I know it’s just a fantasy dream of a VIP/Stay but I had fun imagining it knowing full well it will never happen.
Every theory is possible so we never know .Every dream is valid ,they are also saying a collaboration with ATEEZ because of their pirate theme .We should wait and see !!! 😄😄😄

This Clown robbing a bank scene makes me think of the beginning of The Dark Knight Rises, where the Joker robbed the bank with a bunch of men wearing clown masks similar to these.
P.S. SKZ will never announce something right before it comes out. Either they just drop it without announcing it, like solo songs on their channel. Or we will get at least a full month of teasers etc. So the 10th of November is gonna be Comeback day!

SKZ loves putting easter eggs in their videos as you know! This is just from the rumor mill so take it with a grain of salt:
1. There were Hanja (Chinese characters used in Korean writing) scattered throughout. Most notably the "樂" character which means music/joy and pronounced like "rock", other characters are on the Pirate flag and map, which means "anger" "sorrow" and on the computer monitor "joy/happiness"
2. The settings correspond to each emotion, and might just become the album concepts/versions:
Bank - happiness
Pirate ship - anger
White snowy place - sorrow (or anxiety?)
Band concert - music/joy
3. Because the title is very similar to 5-Star, this might be a repackage album instead of a new one. A repackage album will have some of the 5-Star tracks with the addition of a few new songs. They did this before with the God's Menu album, "GO生" which was repackaged to "IN生" where they added Back Door as the new title track

Я тут вижу Пиратов Карибского моря, Хроники Нарнии, Начало (Нолана) - клип парней Circus, Freeze, Miroh - маски и счастливые парни в центре бунта и беспорядков, + ограбление банка как это бывает показано в фильмах, одновременно с этим голоса и лицо Хана - Джокер и Бетмен, новая карта к лору stray kids, и дети, которые волнуются и ждут выступления, - я думаю они символизируют самих парней (kids). В общем в голове такой салат, что похоже на безумие. Зацепить, заставить следить и не дышать✅ 25/03 - дата дебюта, 10 ноября - ждем альбом.

Welcome to your first comeback. So many theories will be thrown around. Some might get it right, some might send us in the wrong direction. But we will love everything that happens.
I have already seen a theory that this one has to do with Lee Know's emotions, because the three main symbols we see in the trailer are "anger", "Sadness"< and "Happiness", and those are the three emotions Han said are the only emotions Lee Know has room for inside him in one of the 2 Kids Room episodes.
I have already seen theories about One Piece, and many more pirate themes.
I have seen theories about Deadpool, because the voices in the head & theatrics are just like the way Deadpool comics & movies are.
I expect to see new theories as the day goes on.
Edit to add the fact that I just found out that I missed. The pirate scenes are under water. There are subtle bubbles EVERYWHERE in those scenes. Lee Know has been blowing bubbles all over the place lately, just to subtly spoil it for us......We are clowns indeed. We need to remember that almost everything he does is a spoiler. Because this was filmed while Felix had blue hair, anything Lee Know does in the interim between when it was filmed & it came out needs to be studied. Same with Chan. He loves spoiling stuff like that too. I have a lot of research to do.

@@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 The looking skyward with the clock this is easy. When we had the close up of the eye, you could see the reflection of the clock in it. The members & dancers who are standing looking up at the circle of light with the giant clock? That's inside the eye, looking through the pupil. An iris isn't naturally smooth, so the circle isn't perfect. This kinda lends to the memory/thoughts theory. Your thought, ideas, and memory are all in a space that has no shape, or distance. That's why everything seems to fade as we look past the group. Even the bus seems to fade into darkness that is white & black simultaneously. They might represent emotions, especially as they are talking about how 'anxiety' is something we create ourselves.

When I like things, or know them, I can explain things well. Finding connections in random information is a lot easier when your brain does that with normal things. This is their comeback trailer. We’re as confused as you for now. I actually thought the new comeback would be rockstar, because Seungmin kept saying rockstar around 5-star.
Clowns are us. We are the clowns. Theories are the comeback will have school uniforms and pirate ships, and the teaser to me is really one piece coded.
Thank you for a nice reaction, I like that you really try to spot everything and understand the meaning. Many people in the comments have already said many interesting observations and interpretations of the prologue. I just wanted to note that for me there is a very strong Dark Knight Joker vibes and One Piece (I recently started watching the live action) feel to the prologue. Don't know what it means if there actually is, but I am very excited for the comeback! Anyway, I really enjoy your videos.

Chinese characters are rarely used in Korean writing (although I have seen it) and in this case, 樂 is joy or happy or in Japanese it means music so it really depends on the language our lyrical geniuses decided to use. (I'm leaning for the Japanese symbol being that they can speak the language.)
The upcoming release will be called Rockstar according to the links in the JYP Entertainment "extra" section under the video. A lot of people have already commented and I haven't looked at them to tell you what's missing. haha

I did see a couple comments about the bus being from the "District 9" song but that bus was white. The only yellow bus I remember is from "Grow Up" which kind of makes since if you think about the "prologue" and there were kids and yeah... see how we almost went down that rabbit hole? The theories are all over the place.
The clown reference... well, we (Stay) have been called clowns by SKZ themselves but there is no telling. I don't think these clowns were us but who knows.
3/25 is the debut date for them. It's pretty important to all of us as it's the day they were finally given a chance to come out to the world.

Wrong character - it's 喜 which is "happiness" in Hanja (old Korean script), as well as in Chinese and Kanji (old Japanese script). So it could be interpreted as "Happiness Bank", a place where happy thoughts/memories are stored that you can escape to when things like anxiety etc. are taking over.
You can see examples of both Hanji and Hangul in Thunderous on the poster board that Hyunjin takes an "advert" from, although I can't see the symbol for happiness anywhere on there

Hi, new viewer here. From what I know of these short vids, I think these are introductions to a Stray Kids comeback. The drop will happen on 11/10.
What's neat about the creepy clowns on the bus is that I think it's referencing a scene from "The Dark Knight". The scene where the Joker sent his clown goons to rob a bank.
The mayhem with the clowns could be referencing chaos around the Stray Kids which they could be ignoring because despite the chaos around them, they have succeeded in becoming who they are. This is only a guess. I'm not sure because I'm not a stay.
3/25, 3:25 symbolizes their debut day.
I think the pirates are referencing one of their earlier songs, not sure which.
