Michael, Bob Bailey apparently was a tortured man. He was a star on two radio shows for almost 15 years, and after Johnny Dollar ended he disappeared for 9 years. At the very end of my playlist of the Johnny Dollar 5 part episodes there is an interview with Bob Bailey's daughter (Roberta Goodwin), and two interviews with John Abbott, who wrote a book about the Johnny Dollar radio show. They can give you an insight to Bob, and the the show in general
It is interesting that the name of the guy who died was named Parley Bearin, the great character actor, who made many appearances on Johnny Dollar, his name was Parley Bear. Yep, Chester on the radio version of Gunsmoke and when that ended in 1962, he became the mayor of Mayberry on the Andy Griffith show. He did a later show playing a dying grandfather telling a young man about his life. I cannot remember the name of that program. Wish I could, I would love to watch it again.
There is no doubt in my mind that TH-cam has dramatically raised the number of commercials in all videos. In this way you will sign up for their premium no commercial service. This way they get all the money, and the TH-camr gets nothing. Most of my videos have one or two interruptions, but every once and a while I will bet a video which has a commercial every 5 minutes, and each time you bypass the commercial another one comes up in 5 minutes.
