  • Yasur Volcano on Tanna Island/Vanuatu 09/2016 on three different days from different angles of the crater rim. Movie material is raw, no modifications apart from image stabilization with virtual dub because I filmed it hand held.

    Thanks for posting. Graham Bradley informed me of the link yo your video. I visited this volcano in about 1976 - pretty awesome experience.

    Great footage but what kind of stabilizer software you use? It really messed up the video in certain parts

    Earth farts! Somebody take the bowl of beans away from Mama Gaia! All kidding aside, this videographer risked his or her life to bring us this imagery -- thanks!

    Has anyone discussed evidence of cyclical activity or is this planetary active period an anomaly? All things considered is this result of instant communication we assume in modern times or is it truly a crescendo of events leading to a very existential ending?

      Three sources will answer your questions, all here on YT: the Adapt 2030 channel, the BP Earthwatch channel, and the Thunderbolts channel. In short, electrical flow through the Universe varies, which varies the Sun's output and magnetic field, which varies storms, volcanoes, and earthquake activity. Notice the big uptick of all three since the huge solar storm a few weeks ago -- NOT a coincidence.

    Wonder if there's gold in them there hills?

    • @hshs5756
      @hshs5756 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Volcanic activity does not produce gold deposits; if it did, Vanuatu would be a rich country instead of a poverty-stricken backwater.

      Hs Hs I was joking. Sorry if you thought I was serious. Gold would melt at those temps anyway.

      Not quite true, basalt and andesite typically contain gold. Unfortunately the amount is usually between 3 and 7 parts per million. :)
