- As you know, Cayson loves his chickens. We purchased the two splash Orpington’s at the auction a couple weeks ago, and we thought that the hen was attacked by a predator but we found her three days later in the bushes. It was a miracle.
This definitely scared me with all the shots that was being fired. Luckily, after shaking from the air, they were not firing in my direction.

So happy you found the missing hen, and the missing cow! Kayson looked so precious laying there asleep xo. I think you did a terrific job on the chicken coop Brandon! Put some wheels on the back side of it and you can move it as the grass is eaten and move them to clean spots every few days. Looks a might heavy to manhandle it around to different places so frequently. but you could rig something up...just use your imagination and you'll figure it out. Only need two wheels and then pull it with the little jeep thingy. Blessings to you all!
It is so amazing how much Kayson has grown since you guys moved out to the property. HIs speach has improved. He is so excited to help you and looked like a little angel sleeping.
