The best thing about Freiza is that anything a saiyan does gives him PTSD. Vegeta is no longer in his command? PTSD. Goku defeats Freiza? PTSD. Trunks kills him too? PTSD. Gohan gives mercy to Ginyu like Goku did to Freiza? PTSD. Hell? PTSD. Saiyans? You guessed it-- PTSD.
Well, Freezer was on Namek. Shit got weird. He was cut in pieces. And blown up. Stuff like that can give you PTSD. And Future Trunks cut him up. In even smaller pieces. And blew him up. Again.

I'd say Trunks' sword, while Goku was indirectly involved in Freeza's being cut up, he was sliced into several pieces which he lived through to see, whereas I'd imagine Freeza only remembers Trunk's first swing that cut his head (and body) in two, likely killing him/causing adequate brain trauma to result in memory loss.
It will forever amuse me that, technically both choices here are right. Since Gotenks is literally Goten - who looks almost exactly like Goku, and Trunks - who obviously cut him in half in a teenage/young-adult form.
Looking through the manga, I cannot find any indication that Freeza is still alive; normally when a character is still alive through that Toriyama draws lines around parts of their body to show their shuddering or shaking, like King Cold while after Trunks caught the sword or Freeza when he hit the ground after he cut himself in half.

Trunks didn't exactly introduce himself. You may not have noticed, but the kid wasn't much for small talk or fucking around with his enemies. He went for kill-shots.
Also at the time Freeza arrived on Earth he was trying to keep it a secret, he only told Goku (and Piccolo heard because he has superhearing). The others only learn who he really is when Trunks comes back to the present at the time the cyborgs show up (but he was already born in this timeline by then, so the secret wasn't a necessity anymore)
He doesn't know because he knows it's impossible that Trunks killed him. He's too young, while the man who did kill him was clearly an adult. So the only way Frieza will ever know is if someone tells him who the man who killed him really is.
If you think about technically gotenks is related to BOTH people responsible for him getting cut in half. Gotens dad tricked him into cutting himself in half . And trunks future self did it himself. Frieza had no idea how on the dot he was.
Not in THIS scene though. Remember, the reason they're working together is because all the fighters on the planet were knocked down to roughly Yamcha level. Why Yamcha level? Because he was the only fighter NOT affected, and he still holds his own with the rest. So Gotenks and Frieza are on equal footing right now. So you can tell who didn't play the game by saying either fighter is stronger.

Ben 10 is ultra broken when he gets to have instant alien swap and ancient aliens. Alien X is basically a hivemind that if they agree on something, are basically living gods. He's literally omnipotent, the only weakness is that the hivemind (him, and the two egos) have to agree to even MOVE and the egos are super bitter.

In the tournament he fought fodder characters in his final form and after that all he did was hide saving his energy so I dont think he can beat SSJ3 gotenks
Blade FTR base dyspo is SSG level and freeza was equal to him. He would destroy gotenks like Vegeta's clone did

in short goku's base fore in resurrection f was strong enough to overpower frieza's final form, but regardless would Molly wop gotenks. Golden frieza would also probably kill gotenks too. he just isn't strong enough to compete with the others anymore (storywise). hopefully when the show comes back from hiatus the fix a lot of things like this.

He said cut in two which was Goku, but if he was talking about future Trunks then he should have said pieces because he slashed him a great deal of times and blew him up with a powerful blast.
I'm guessing he was only alive for the first cut (I believe that even Freeza needs his brain intact to remember, but who knows), besides, Freeza was cut into at least three parts by his death saucer against Goku (lower body, upper body and left arm are the pieces I remember).
