Honestly I love the mild amount of respect the Ginyu force gives Gotenks. Sure, they're saying his pose sucks, but Ginyu himself is being constructively critical, and the rest of the members are throwing in their two cents. I think it's rather nice.
It makes a lot of sense, imagine being a group of freaks that does fighting poses before fighting and finding a kid that's trying to do the same thing, it's logical for them to help him out with the pose considering they probably haven't ever found anyone else that likes battle poses!
My favorite part is that Gohan and the Ginyu Force kinda like each other because of their mutual love for poses, and after Gohan explains to Krillin why they pose Ginyu says “I recognize you as a true warrior”
It's seems like they're not that bad when they're not actively ordered to kill people. There was another game where they took the protagonist under their wing to learn fusion and Ginyu was even considering making a Junior Ginyu force until Frieza said he wanted the hero dead.

@@Darkoriax17 Not saying he isn’t strong, but the version of Gohan in Fighterz for the story is basically a Gohan who just got back into training (it doesn’t seem to be before the Goku Black arc, but it’s post Return of F), he probably isn’t as strong as he was if Cell is saying he is significantly weaker.

People are right though by saying Gohan doesn't have a natural proclivity to train like the pure-blood saiyans. Its why he's only trained and fought to protect his loved ones from world ending threats like Cell and Buu in DBZ.
Gohan became weak because Japanese fans were salty that he was taking over Goku spot as main character. The backlash was so much that Toyriama was forced to bring Goku back and make him the strongest one again while everyone was weaker.

There should be a meme, when Cell is upgrading Gohan. Upgrade: Gohan SSJ2 to Mystic. Upgrade (again): Gohan getting weaker. And there should be "Imperfection" at the end.

I have aids but, I think 16 has some sort of programming ptsd that came in when he was talking about how he didn’t have any programing to kill goku. But I guess that isn’t the case, and deep down that programing is still there.
I have to agree with the ginyus. Gotenks did the arm thing, but his core and lower half are basically in a horse riding stance. He's all lined up in the same axis. It looks flat and boring. meanwhile, the ginyus all have complete poses that include the lower half, thorax rotation and their feet and legs are offset in two axis. Their poses are objectively better. Gotenks has a lot to learn.
Not only that but the Ginyus show time and time again it's not about just shifting into a pose, it's about the journey into it. Take their introduction poses in the series, each member not only transition into their poses but each show their character as they do so. Not only that but each even announce themselves in a better fashion too. Gotenks came off as just saying 'hi' in a basic fashion. The Ginyus introduce themselves and give off power while doing so. It isn't even just the volume difference but the tone. Gotenks is trying to show off, the Ginyus make a statement. He can really learn alot from the Captain and the others. Plus you know you're bad when even Guldo can dunk on you.
I find it hilarious cell was laughing at nappa the way he was, especially bringing up the super saiyan part. Imagine if he told nappa *he* could do it too

the tingling thing was as bad as calling future trunks new form Super Saiyan Rage... i mean come the fuck off Super Saiyan from the get go was letting all the rage out and you gonna call a form just that? Hell before it's true name was revealed some fans used to call it a Super Saiyan Demigod and considering it has some of the god ki colors in it's aura it was a much better name... That tingling sensation was just a nail in the coffin for how stupid Super has become... granted i watch it and i enjoy the fights but it's story is simply bad. I hope that after the hiatus they take, writers will get their shit togheter and make better plots for a continuation/next series.
Starmie Productions Except Goku and Vegeta were already Super Saiyans when they impregnated their wives, with Goten and Trunks. Not to mention both of them have also been training and have likely seen Vegeta and Gohan transform into a SS before.. Your strength doesn't determine you getting a transformation easier. Obviously in Cabba's case, he knew absolutely nothing about Super Saiyan until Goku and Vegeta displayed it in the U6 vs U7 Tournament and he was equally/evenly matched with Vegeta, in their normal forms. Yet it took actual rage for him to unlock both SS and SS2 unlike Kale and Caulifla where they literally made a tingly sensation in the center of their spines using their Ki and they immediately transformed into SS and SS2, or in Kale's case, LSS. They made practically all of the struggles the Z Fighters had back in Dragon Ball Z including Gohan's rage and cleansing of his self-doubts that ascended him far beyond even his dad Goku, completely fucking worthless and a waste of time with that bullshit back tingly shit. That's basically saying, "lol, u just had to do dis the whole time, lmaoooo"
When Vegeta fought that guy in the tourney, he noted he already had beyond the raw power for ssj, just never knew how. Once they had the instructions, it was no big thing by that point.

I heard (in the comments section of one of the DBZA episodes, so take with a grain of salt) that Cell's actual voice actor actually used the TFS version to try to make him sound a bit more intimidating.
I know the reply thread is talking about Cell, but since we're on the topic of TFS voices, I'll just say... After hearing his DBZA voice, I can't help but cringe at Recoome's official voice now.

in DB Legends, he's the teacher of the protagonist Shallot alongside Vegeta. They see him as a true Saiyan and pinned their hopes on him... although they died against Frieza 😔 causing Shallot to become Super Saiyan.

It's kind of wierd that everybody shits on Kale and Caulifla while Goten and kid Trunks were the same back in DBZ. Of course you can come up with an excuse that they are Gokus and Vegetas sons but that doesn't change the fact that they were the same as them. Even ssj3 was all about pushing the point deep inside of you to turn into a ssj3 and it's one of the coolest forms. Well, in the end it's probably because everybody saw DBZ as a kid and had no problem with it while as an adult, you actually see how stupid it is.
Hey ItsMe For being Goku’s BROTHER he gets so little story and is completely irrelevant. He basically comes to earth and gets killed by Goku and Piccolo and that’s it. Toriyama should have brought him back from the dead later on and had him either be a recurring antagonist or have him have a change of heart similar to Vegeta and fight along side the Z fighters from time to time or something. Hell Nappa gets more action than him. Lol

I have to agree with the ginyus. Gotenks did the arm thing, but his core and lower half are basically in a horse riding stance. He's all lined up in the same axis. It looks flat and boring. meanwhile, the ginyus all have complete poses that include the lower half, thorax rotation and their feet and legs are offset in two axis. Their poses are objectively better. Gotenks has a lot to learn.
Burter shows this directly by doing the same pose better.
Not only that but the Ginyus show time and time again it's not about just shifting into a pose, it's about the journey into it. Take their introduction poses in the series, each member not only transition into their poses but each show their character as they do so. Not only that but each even announce themselves in a better fashion too. Gotenks came off as just saying 'hi' in a basic fashion. The Ginyus introduce themselves and give off power while doing so. It isn't even just the volume difference but the tone.
Gotenks is trying to show off, the Ginyus make a statement. He can really learn alot from the Captain and the others. Plus you know you're bad when even Guldo can dunk on you.

The super Sayan form stopped being of value right after the fight with Frieza. After that, it just worked as an entry barrier.
the tingling thing was as bad as calling future trunks new form Super Saiyan Rage... i mean come the fuck off Super Saiyan from the get go was letting all the rage out and you gonna call a form just that? Hell before it's true name was revealed some fans used to call it a Super Saiyan Demigod and considering it has some of the god ki colors in it's aura it was a much better name... That tingling sensation was just a nail in the coffin for how stupid Super has become... granted i watch it and i enjoy the fights but it's story is simply bad. I hope that after the hiatus they take, writers will get their shit togheter and make better plots for a continuation/next series.

Except Goku and Vegeta were already Super Saiyans when they impregnated their wives, with Goten and Trunks. Not to mention both of them have also been training and have likely seen Vegeta and Gohan transform into a SS before.. Your strength doesn't determine you getting a transformation easier. Obviously in Cabba's case, he knew absolutely nothing about Super Saiyan until Goku and Vegeta displayed it in the U6 vs U7 Tournament and he was equally/evenly matched with Vegeta, in their normal forms. Yet it took actual rage for him to unlock both SS and SS2 unlike Kale and Caulifla where they literally made a tingly sensation in the center of their spines using their Ki and they immediately transformed into SS and SS2, or in Kale's case, LSS. They made practically all of the struggles the Z Fighters had back in Dragon Ball Z including Gohan's rage and cleansing of his self-doubts that ascended him far beyond even his dad Goku, completely fucking worthless and a waste of time with that bullshit back tingly shit. That's basically saying, "lol, u just had to do dis the whole time, lmaoooo"
When Vegeta fought that guy in the tourney, he noted he already had beyond the raw power for ssj, just never knew how. Once they had the instructions, it was no big thing by that point.

I heard (in the comments section of one of the DBZA episodes, so take with a grain of salt) that Cell's actual voice actor actually used the TFS version to try to make him sound a bit more intimidating.
