Just found out keep capsicums plants my bro has one 4 years old they keep growing year after year also eucalyptus grow grom small branches in these tubs in shade be good to grow all types of these & colors for birds around property lines etc
That was amazing video clip you put together there off your hydroponic system you made out off a coca bottle there it was good to see if an watch how you made it there an keep up the amazing video clip there 👍👍
Thanks for creating this video. Very informative. One question: That tomato plant at the end had really large roots and looks very healthy. Do you grow it all season in that painters bucket or do you transfer them to actual soil at some point? I'm not sure how you could get that small rooting basket off of the roots without damaging them. Cheers!
@@grizoswald210 I kept them in the water all season,! The bucket was large enough that the roots couldn't outgrow it. Once the season was over and the plant died off I got the snips out and cut the roots either side of the basket to get it out. Some of the baskets broke a little bit but mostly I can re use them for the next season!
@@theadventuresofzoomandbettie thank you i was researching a little about hydroponics and such and I think I might go with floating rafts since I can plant more and the method Is very similar ill get back to you and tell you my progress and if I have problems with it hopefully you can help if I do because I haven't done any type of gardening/growing before but yea I wanted to ask In my backyard I have a good shadowed place I think would be good to put the system in but do I need a green house or something to protect it from pesticides? or can I just put it out there?
@sorachiiy6831 we had some things growing in the greenhouse and outside of it too and they all did fairly well as long as they got enough sun. At this time of the year frosts aren't an issue so much more choice than a month ago where you want to put things!
You explained this well Zoom. So simple. I’m tempted to try it myself.
Let us know how you get on! It is really super easy!
Affordable and efficient - love this hydroponic hack
Glad you liked it! Seems like a winner to us!
