I have heard the TdM Moon card called Eclipse, meaning the moon eclipsing the sun in the middle of the day, the New moon, the Dark moon, rather than the full moon. That puts a whole different spin on it.

I think the story telling of the cards came from playing the Lenormand game.
I briefer it predates Lenormand, but Lenormand was surely one who waved the flag and made it popular. Thank you for watching!
