You said you didn't know why you were telling us all about your mother... because you know we're here for you. So very hard to lose a parent one is close to, and I hope you continue to feel her love in and around you, I live in the middle of a "red state", and so easy for me to believe what happened before, happened. I'm trying to stay positive and not to give in to my fear this time. Just for fun, I gave the court cards in your second reading the numbers you suggested to figure out the quint card for that reading based on them. Quint is Temperance! I love that card, but I doubt she's shedding any light on the situation other than saying, "stay calm and carry on"! Let's keep sending out the light! Much love, Donna

That might be the reason why....Anyway, my interpretation to your mum's message " Hold it my sunshine I am in your heart" it is a personnal message she sent you there for sure. So sorry to hear about your Mum, she sounded like a wise woman… I know that there will be bad actor and someone who I will not name will declare a winner, before it is announced… It will be a little while for declaring the winner… There is a prep for chaos and preparation have been made for it… Likely, by third week there will be lighter energy and clarity on who the next president will be… I love your decks and see variety… What a great message to end with ☺️🙏
I believe the reason readings around the ‘24 election are so ambiguous is because it will be more than a few days (maybe weeks) before the results are known. I think Arizona (don’t quote me on state)has said it will be 2 weeks before their results are known.
@laurabondurant5096 Hopefully there will be enough votes that even if some states won't know for weeks, we'll have an overwhelming win so the late states will be icing on the cake. The vigil is on! Praying for the best possible outcome. Again. Hopefully, this will be the last time we have to hear about this man other than learning what his prison time will be. The only reason he's running is to avoid prison time since he'll pardon himself. Corruption through and through. Scary stuff.

That's an excellent question, I don't know of any excellent books specifically for this deck. There was a book that came with it but it wasn't especially helpful. Mostly, watch videos on this deck and other TdMs! I can't think of a better way to learn. It takes time to learn so be patient and have fun! I wrote a blog article about reading with a Besançon deck. I'll link it in the description area, it's a start and maybe it will help.
Is the whole international Tarot community doing readings around the elections? I hear tension and nervousness in your voice, which I totally understand; my nerves are bad over the election... and I'm British! I couldn't do readings around our recent general election, but for another country I feel just removed enough to be less invested. I'm concerned for you all and doing readings on such an important subject should be approached with caution. So far I've done 3 readings on it this year. The first one around the time of the assassination attempt on Trump. The second at the time that Biden stood down for Harris and one this weekend as the final reading. For each reading I chose the Ancient Italian deck as it feels like a good fit for me on questions of state and civil matters. They have been remarkably accurate and insightful. This weekend, I did the unusual step of doing the same reading with a different deck after the first reading. Normally, I would never do that as I feel that it can only be done once, but as it was a different layout, with a different deck (Krebs), I was slightly changing the angle. They were however remarkably similar to my great surprise. I even drew Force as the first card in both readings. One thing I was insistent on was breaking away from so called 'standard' TdM interpretations. So that the cards were read exactly as I saw them in relation to their neighbours. Using another TdM deck would provide different meanings if the images, or symbolism was varied. That way I got a much more insightful and relevant reading on the election. It's very tense and it will be interesting - from a Tarot reading perspective - to see how events follow the card's signposts.
On the last day of last year, I did a video reading on the events of the coming year. I'll post it in the descriptive area below. It was uncanny and definitely hopeful. But these days are scary because they matter and anything can happen.
