This is cool for the price of the tool. I do have a vevor powered sander, but i wouldnt consider it reliable to use professionally over a quality tool. Give us an update if you have any issues or leaking fittings. Thanks for the video.
These fittings have been around since the late 80's in water , hvac and more. The first tools were hand operated , then corded , most of the failures have nothing to do with tools but bad prep. The Vevor tool is not as high quality as the m12 or others but it's way better than the older tools that did the job before. If a failure happens from using it 99.9% chance it's user error.
@@wind5250 i am fighting with a plumber who insists cleaning, deburring each end prior to use is unnecessary. we had 3 3/4 inch nibco fittings fail 5 weeks after install, and i told him at that time to clean and prep the pipes... he insists its nibco's issue with their slotted orings... I am so sick of his shit.
Thanks for the info, can you compare HEWLEE and VEVOR, I've been using HEWLEE lately and it's working fine so far, I'm wondering if it can support other brands of jaws

Hey man, thank you soo much for doing this video. I've been doing a lot of research and have found the vevor tool to have slightly different throw or stroke lengths. Have you used this setup with alot of success months later?
@@quintonsweeney8025 so far I have not had any issues. Not sure if you looked at the last video I put up but I’m mega pressing gas 3/4 fittings and I did not experience any problems.
I haven’t done any research on the hvac side but I know that if any jaws are compatible with the Milwaukee m18 then you can definitely use those jaws on the Vevor pro press. Does that help?

I’ve also pressed 3/4 gas fittings with the Vevor pro press but i didn’t record it which I should have but I just wanted to hurry up and get the job done. I will record the next one.
The press sounded like a bunch of steel being ground up. Why not just use the Vevor clamps since they are cheaper than the Milwaukee ones? I’ll stick with my Milwaukee presses ugh.
@@hermancm the Milwaukee ones in this video are mega press jaws. Vevor doesn’t make mega press jaws they only make jaws for copper which I have. Some people don’t want to pay for the Milwaukee pro press. My videos are proof that the Vevor works just like any other press out there at a much cheaper price.
@ Yes the Milwaukee presses are more than double the cost, even triple if buying new at retail and if you’re not using the tool a lot it would be hard to justify the cost.

@@jasonchusfo888 Sounds like he's a clown. Pipe that hasn't been deburred will rip the delicate o-ring on insertion and a leak is imminent.

That is a great question. I believe they do but I’m entirely sure. I’m definitely going to buy them but in the future.
Yes, the ridgid c1/v1 kit works with this. Make sure you use the v1 for this full size tool and the c1 for the compact m12 tool.

The press tool yes. But you have to get different jaws such as RLS fitting jaws or similar depending on the fittings

I thought the jaws had an octagon shaped hole in them ? Are these for crimping pex rings ?
The jaws in the video are not for pex rings but you can buy pex jaws from a different brand who sells them and put them on there.
The Milwaukee jaws in the video are for pressing black iron pipe and galvanized pipe.

After 30,000 crimps then you have to get it calibrated but to be honest I haven’t seen anything on Vevor saying that they offer that service.
You have to calibrate all press tools of all brands, some advertise 30k presses some 100k.
