The next one needs a bit of context there was one line that said harvesting donor bone x-amount, Next line, implanting donor bone x-amount, ok, all understandable someone had to do stuff so they should be paid, the line that crossed the line said Donor bone $31,867..... How TF?!?!? can a hospital/Doctor/Medical group whoever justify charging for something freely given to them and how could you even pull out a 5 figure sum of money as an "appropriate" amount?

Lovecraft respectively) ever met in person, but they had an extensive correspondence, saw eye-to-eye on many issues (mostly racism) and admired each other's work. So it was natural for Howard to allude to Lovecraft's stories from time to time.
The other way 'round as well -- Lovecraft put Howard's creations into his stories, as well as Howard using some of Lovecraft's. They never met in person; it was a very intense bromance via correspondence.

I think what people don't understand, is that Simon truly does not care. This channel started as an idea about ripping on business that he probably didn't think would succeed. It's evolved into the excellence it is today. He never cared from the beginning. The fact that it works is solely a bonus for him. If it didn't pan out he would try something different, and I wouldn't be commenting here, I'd just be commenting on a different channel. Keep it real Simon, love you for it.
What you're missing is, the initial growth was huge and fast. Once it changed format, it nearly stopped getting more subs. It's been in the 300s for like a year or more. He doesn't care about this channel, but he cares about money...and more watches = more money. If you give people what they want, they are more likely to watch. Simple business.

The Patty Duke Show was an American sitcom from the early 1960s featuring, well, Patty Duke, an actress best known for playing Helen Keller in the film _The Miracle Worker._ It was about all the hijinks surrounding the adventures of two identical cousins (both played by Patty Duke), the daughters of identical twin brothers (both played by the same actor) and their opposite personalities. Does that sound stupid and contrived? Yes. Yes, it was.

Ergo, Cthulhu & Conan are canonically in the same literary "Universe". Kevin's description of how the backwards talking in the red room was recorded/filmed for Twin Peaks is close, but it's even stranger than he knows, at least according to Michael J. Anderson, who played The Man from Another Place. As a teen, Michael & his friends learned to speak phonetically backwards to each other as a code so they could talk to each other without others understanding them. When David Lynch wanted backwards talking for the red room scenes, Michael was able to read everyone's lines & then speak them phonetically backwards, so the other actors actually learned their backwards lines without having to listen to recordings of themselves played backwards. The phonetically backwards recordings were then played in reverse for the final audio, with the actors lip syncing. I'm with Kevin on Twin Peaks. The Muppet Show also wasn't a kids show so it's not particularly weird. That and Sesame Street are both known for celebrity appearances, so it was difficult to consider any of them strange. If I had to choose one, it would be Job from Arrested Development doing magic on Sesame Street. Not famous actor Will Arnett who kids would have later realized became Lego Batman, but the character Job from the show none of them ever saw.

H.P. Lovecraft (creator of Cthulhu) & Robert E. Howard (creator of Conan the Barbarian) had a many year intense bromance via letters, & each writer would often stick the other writer's literary creations into his own stories as homage. Ergo, Cthulhu & Conan are canonically in the same literary "Universe".
Kevin's description of how the backwards talking in the red room was recorded/filmed for Twin Peaks is close, but it's even stranger than he knows, at least according to Michael J. Anderson, who played The Man from Another Place. As a teen, Michael & his friends learned to speak phonetically backwards to each other as a code so they could talk to each other without others understanding them. When David Lynch wanted backwards talking for the red room scenes, Michael was able to read everyone's lines & then speak them phonetically backwards, so the other actors actually learned their backwards lines without having to listen to recordings of themselves played backwards. The phonetically backwards recordings were then played in reverse for the final audio, with the actors lip syncing. I'm with Kevin on Twin Peaks. I assume the Michael Cera cameo is another of David's elaborate jokes.

Yes, it was Doge Coin to the moon. And that's really cool, I didn't know they had someone who could write their lines backwards for them. The idea is still the same, but that's cool that they were able to cut a major step out of it.
The episode of Family Ties with Hanks, where he punches MICHAEL J. Fox is CLASSIC! Used to watch every episode, had a small crush on Hanks😊😊... he was GREAT(as usual😉)

The Muppet Show also wasn't a kids show so it's not particularly weird. That and Sesame Street are both known for celebrity appearances, so it was difficult to consider any of them strange. If I had to choose one, it would be Job from Arrested Development doing magic on Sesame Street. Not famous actor Will Arnett who kids would have later realized became Lego Batman, but the character Job from the show none of them ever saw.

They weren't controversies until recently. H.P. Lovecraft was simply a man of his time. He actually became much more open minded as he reached middle age. Unfortunately that's as far as he got. He died before 50.
I completely remember Tom Hanks chugging down vanilla extract! He also has a great early guest spot as a stoned college kid on Taxi. Plus he was in a transvestite sitcom around the same time. It wasn't that weird actually

Ok the hashtag #teamchair had me dying, thank you. I also think it improved when he sat down. Before that, he was kinda going off the rails on a regular basis and his content was starting to suffer. It feels like he was just trying to check himself a little bit and focus on the content more. He's still silly and fun. I do miss the script slaps a little bit. Something about them was so cathartic. But it's just a small thing, not a deal breaker.
