- On this adventure me and my friend Keith go for a ride on our KTM’s down the coast to South West Rocks and go for an awesome tour of the historical Trial Bay Gaol. We then head back to Coffs Harbour with a side trip out to the famous Taylor’s Arm Pub for a beer. This is the pub that Slim Dusty sings about in his song “The Pub With No Beer”. It was a great day out on the motorbikes exploring some really cool and interesting places.

Mate, t hat looked like a pretty grouse ride, even with a little rain.
The jail tour was a nice bonus too, something that I never knew existed.👌🏽
Cheers for the crash history lesson.👍🏽
No worries mate. Yeah was an awesome ride. We tried to stay off the hwy most of the way down to Southwest Rocks. Went along the coastal roads through the little towns. The tour of the jail was really cool. You don’t see buildings built like that anymore.

Haha, definitely not, although there wasn't much of some of those buildings left!😉
Oh, and the pub with no beer now has beer, that's a relief...lmao😆
@@SMee67 if was touch and go there for a minute, but yes luckily they had beer. We were getting a bit thirsty by then. 🤣🤣🤣

Whew! 🍺🍺🍺🍺😉
I don’t know where you are but it’s just like riding the roads here at home in Scotland 😊👍🌷
This is in Northern New South Wales in Australia. It most definitely is beautiful countryside.
The area wasn’t bush everywhere in 1900. This area was settled in the 1830s, when the town of Kempsey was established. Towns and villages on the coast followed soon after. In other words, there’d been European civilisation and towns in the area for at least 70-80 years before 1900.
