With how poor of a job their marketing was at explaining the game I think a lot of us were concerned it lack substance. Those fears were alleviated (at least for me) because the actual review felt very positive even if it didn’t receive “top marks”.
They're not just going to drop it on PS5 (and PC) to fester and die with no support and updates, if needed. This is a project I'm sure they're proud of and they want it to work and be well received. Welp i'm surprised this got a pretty good score. So why are they that desperate releasing tons of trailer then? a somewhat a waste of money on marketing. Did someone internal didn't believe on the product or something?. I'm pretty sure 3 trailer is enough for this game, 1. Story premise & basic/key gameplay 2. a more comprehensive on gameplay & story 3. Final appeal on what make the game unique + future update plan.
It looks really good and fun but I worry that the mechanics are immersion breaking. I think that's one of the reason I could never fully get into Dishonoured
Felt similarly, but I get it. The number at the end of the day is less important than the content of the review. Watching this has reignited my interest, but had I just heard they gave it an 8 I might have moved on.

@@MCHellshit Exactly. A bunch of casual gamers whining cuz they can’t get a ps5 to play 2k on.
@@withoutthejuice7193
Not necessarily casual gamers. Casual gamers aren't on TH-cam looking at game videos.
Moreso xbox gamers who are mad. The bought thr studio and we still get the game. They mad.
Lol wow. I had no clue this game was on windows PC. I felt like everything said it was a PS5 timed exclusive
It's coming to Xbox later as well. Just timed PS exclusive
@@___IG yeah, it's tempting to buy it on steam but it's pretty surely coming to game pass in a year so maybe best to wait
Over all it reminds me of hit man except it’s one huge map. I’m assuming there’s multiple ways to go about it too
I hope Arkane haven't botched the marketing for this game because the gameplay here looks waaaay more interesting that what's been shown at every showcase for the last year.
This game getting 10 by every channel YESSS
i so want this game so much
Ben is so awesome
I think they should have released it on current gen
I always thought it looked cool just was getting sick of the insane over marketing this game had
all i need to know if this game is like returnal ? can we save and leave without losing everything
So it’s basically Dishonored with guns.
Wow, finally we can be free of having to watch any more of deathloop´s trailers :/
Its got Denuvo so performance will suffer, well its does if you have a 3080RTX so basically it will suffer for most.
6gb vga :'(
Can't wait for deep sales and try it out :)
The best thing about this Review means that the aggressive and annoying Marketing campaign is now over.
I'm gonna have to buy this... damnit. An 8 here... and 10s at IGN AND GAMESPOT.
I love the idea that other players can invade your game... kinda Souls' like. Or thats how i understood it from the review.
What is this game? I feel like I haven't seen it before. They really didn't market it at all I guess.
I said I would buy this game if they promise to stop showing me trailers. I can’t even stomach watching a review I’m so tired of this game already lol.
So the only complain I got from this review is that its too easy? If so, thats not too bad. Ill check it out
Welp i'm surprised this got a pretty good score.
This or judgement
Eagerly awaiting the Xbox release of this game.
It looks really good and fun but I worry that the mechanics are immersion breaking. I think that's one of the reason I could never fully get into Dishonoured
The review feels higher than 8
Felt similarly, but I get it. The number at the end of the day is less important than the content of the review. Watching this has reignited my interest, but had I just heard they gave it an 8 I might have moved on.
I feel higher than an 8
Didn’t see any promotion for this game 😋😂
nice one
Very happy for them. This time, they overdid it with the marketing (in my opinion) but hopefully their games won't fly under the radar anymore.
They gave it 4.5 Kyle Bosmans out of 5.5 Ben Moores
With how much publicity it got I thought it was going to be worse than it turned out, haha
This is the review that I would expect, the game would get 8 or 9 at most, it does look good and have so many interesting system, but i dont think it deserves 10/10 that IGN or Gamespot gave
I’ll wait for it to be free on game pass
