Right on man. Looks great. I have been looking at a few of the all in ones that only go up to 100C, which like you say is pretty perfect for high quality rosin.
Nice vid. I built a GreenGene Rosin press, works great. Agree, PurePressure good source for info. I set my temps to 85c w/great texture and flavor results. Even w/months old flower. Thanks for ya vids.
DAVID PENA there are 2 sockets on the inkbird 308. The one is for cooling and the other for heating. You plug the heating elements into the heating socket and nothing in the cooling. Then when the plates reach the temperature the heating will stop and cooling start. When it drops 0.3c (you can set this up to what you want) the heating will start up again.
Thanks. My press is working, but I want to add two elements per plate w/a pid per plate. Starting out I made the mistake of using too high temps and not immediately turning off the plates. Burnt out two elements (always the bottom plate ) Fortunately, I had spares. I placed two separate orders from amazon/china that never arrived. Seeing you just built, thought I'd give your source a try. Again, thanks much. Keep Growin!
Hello there .. absolutely love your video .. Made the set of plates today but having a hard time reaching 70 Celsius but I haven’t got the cartridge thermal Paste put in yet .. hopefully that will help to reach the desired temperature 😊
Just being honest with you if it was 170 degrees it would be better and you would be able to get away with it but due to the fact that it's a 120° less than what you required to get the best production best yield and best flavor
