Just a little tip it's important not to leave the bags open while acclamating the fish because the ammonia levels get really hight and become deadly for your fish. I know this might work for you but just letting you know. ( no hate ) 😊
I have a question.. I saw that it said it’s normal behavior for the fish to act a certain way after shipping. I purchased some ranchus from goldfish island and one of them is swimming sideways. It moves normally and then starts to tilt or float up sideways. I thought it was my water but I checked it and it was fine. So my next thought was swim bladder? Idk, but is it usual behavior for fish to be a little off? I ordered 8 and the rest of the fish are fine. It’s only my ranchu.
It is typically normal to see some swim imbalances from fish due to stress for the first few days. Regardless you should always do a saltwater treatment when you get new fish just to be safe. If it doesn't get any better, then you might want to start using other medications
