Wow you did a great job with the paint job. Looks spot on! Rudy's eyes, eyelids and mouth operated exactly like the Thunderbirds puppets did. I always thought the designers of the pinball game stole that from Gerry Anderson! LOL Fats was the name of the ventriloquist doll in "Magic".

Great job. As a pinball collector, Funhouse is also my favourite game and I own mine since 1996. I completely restored it 8 years ago. I don't know if you know, but there was kind of a sequel to Funhouse. Red & Ted's Roadshow. That is also a fun game, with 2 talking heads like Rudy. Absolutely stunning game, also from the creators of Funhouse. Check it out. And keep the good work going!

The dummy in the movie magic was called Fats as I recall. Now you know you can use cheap servos and a servo record - playback unit or even just servo testers as they are called, to control the servos. It's very inexpensive and requires no programing "coding " type skills. The servo testers let you control a servo in real time by turning a knob and the record - playback units will record and play back the movements of up to 4 servos that you control with the 4 knobs. One servo could be used to trigger 2 sound chips. You can use sound recorder chips from greeting cards. That way you can have actual sound samples of Rudy talking in time with the play back of the servo movements. If you got into 3d printing you could 3d print things like the inside frame. It is fun to learn and do and has never been cheaper to get into than right now. Thank you for sharing with us. Love the FUN HOUSE game. My favorite Pinball game is BRIDE OF PINBOT. If your good enough you turn a robot girl into a real woman as she talks and sings to you.

I have him in a display case so I probably wouldn't have made him move that much. I loved the Pinbot machines as well! There were so many great pinball machines back then! I hope to make a little Rudy of my own sometime soon. Funhouse is also my favorite machine because a family member had it at their house and my siblings and I would always play it.

Thank you! I found the pieces for Rudy's head on the Planetary Pinball website. They have everything you'll need but the pieces are expensive.
there was a game for the nintendo wii i think called williams pinball and it had the funhouse pinball game on it
