- Just Me And My Dad is a game developed by GT Interactive/Big Tuna New Media and published in 1996. It is based on the book of the same title by Mercer Mayer, and tells the story of Little Critter going on a camping trip with his father. This is the "read along" mode.

I remember playing this game when I was a just a youngling and now I don't have it no more!
Nicholas Varnau's singing voice is heard in the game. (When Little Critter sings The World Goes Round and Big Paw.)

Too bad they didn't adapt more Little Critter books besides this one and "Just Me and My Mom." I would've LOVED to see them do "Just For Yu (You)!"

Well on the official Little Critter website they do actually have just me and my dad on there it's completely the same except there is no menu and no title screen and you can only do a play mode
I just found it, that's neat that it's there. When I tried it, the sound didn't work for me though...not sure if it's a browser issue or something else. Well, I think I'll try to get my CD copy working anyways, but I'll keep the online version in mind.
@@johammetgamesarchive6704 there also was a app version I don't know if it's on the App Store still as far as I know it was only available on Apple devices but it played very similar to the CD ROM version just without the menu they even had the intro strangely

I remember playing this game in Shockwave mode on the Little Critter website. When will you be doing the play mode of it?
Well, hopefully soon. I wanted to do the play mode from the start, it's just that I ran into a problem where the game's audio would stop working completely (and then the game would crash on me). As soon as I'm certain that I can run the game without those issues happening, I'll record the play mode.

I'll bet that's Jeff Bennett voicing Little Critter's father in this game.
*Or* it could be Pat Fraley, Harrison's real-life father. Too bad nobody's character gets credited but Harrison Fraley as Little Critter, while the rest are credited plainly.
I'm pretty sure it's Jeff Bennett because he sounds like the Man with the Yellow Hat from the Curious George show on PBS Kids.
