Hook up your ASD relay with minimal wires an see your TB initialize. Don’t forget that your complete wiring will have your ASD relay supplying power to all coils, injectors and head capacitors.

@@shelbydogg it took me a bit. Down on the corner of your diagram you mention the grounds from the black plug. For some reason I thought the case ground would suffice, but it does not absolutely need to ground pins 9&18 of the black connector. Once I did that all was right with the world

So as a quick test, if I have power at all injectors and coils when the ASD relay turns on, is it safe to assume my ASD circuit is wired correctly? is there anything else I should check?

I'm working with an 03 harness, wired the same that you have here. My ASD relay comes on, primes the fuel pump for a couple seconds then clicks off - seems normal. I think. I get NO throttle initializing though. What does the ECU need to see in order to do that?

Not sure what you’re missing there. The other guy tried another ECU and it worked. Ask Blake at DIYHEMI if 03-05 ECUs hit the throttle like the other ones. All of mine are newer, 06-10. Good luck!

@ShelbyDogg so C3 pin 37 "fuel pump relay control" either needs to be the fuel pump relay trigger wire or grounded. I did this, and now the throttle is working. Hopefully this helps some. Thank you

A control wire is usually grounded when activated. So if the relay is wired up correctly, that wire will ground one side of it, and the relay will close.

hey, me again. sorry. do the FP and starter relays need to be connected to the PCM to run? if so, which pins? thanks

No, just the ASD relay. FP and starter can be on their own circuits, separate from the PCM but the FP wont shut off if the engine dies.

@@skidmark7199 Black Connector on PCM Pins 11&12 to the sw12v ignition switch on the cage and a wire going to pin 30 of the PCM black connector coming from your starter switch.

so 4ga wire to master switch, from small post on master switch to C1 pins 11 & 12 and from the master switch to the starter button and from starter button to C1 pin 30?@@shelbydogg
