I came here looking for a dolly to move engine blocks around on uneven grass or dirt. This isn't what I expected. However, I'm glad I stumbled upon your video. Your tow dolly is brilliant. It's so terrific, I may use it as inspiration for a DIY engine block dolly I fabricate. Excellent video too, it's crystal clear, easy to follow and your passion for the product comes through as rock solid genuine. Nice job!
I was just discussing something like this with a friend for putting on the far end of a log too big to lift into a truck so we can haul it out of the woods to the landing for final sawing, and splitting. Pretty nice design.
I am a tow driver these are very safe and easy to use. The other styles are scary using one hand to flip the the lock then lift the bar to free ratchet
Great Ideal! Can you retro for a Shipping Container? Make it able to lock into the corner pin holes and might need to beef it up a bit to lift the container.
I use a set of Collins Dollies with solid steel cross bars to move Shipping Containers around !!. I've Towed several 20 foot containers from Tampa to Ocala like this !. And simply looped chains across the front of the container and used my Wheel lift to tow it !!. Works great and I've never had an issue with DOT here in Florida !!. Before using the Tow Dollies, I used a Single axle Boat trailer Axle setup. And simply lifted the front of the container up and pushed the dolly back until it was where I wanted it !. I just carried the dolly on my wheel lift when not towing a container !!. Worked good enough to move over 100 containers !!!!.
Really nice upgrades compared to the other style(self loading), especially when time matters(ie--repoing vehicles). These seem quicker, easier & safer.
I wish I had watched god video a year ago! I didn’t know about twisting the axle to bypass holes, or the trick to loading against a wall!! That trick would’ve been super helpful as many vehicles I tow are against walls! Or curbs.
I want to see these loaded with a Cadillac Escalade. Hit bridge transition s at 60 . What's the max load? G wagon Mercedes and heavy Suv,Truck and mileage for weight. 30 miles? 100 miles, 200 mile tows ?
Probably shouldn’t be using dollies over 45 mph in the first place. I speak from experience. I had a brand new set with steel cross bars and had the welds fail on one of the bars the first time That I used them. ( Not this style in video !). Even at 30 mph in town it wasn’t pretty.
Good thing. Can i use this to tow an AWD rear tires while the front ones are loaded on a tow dolly? What is the max weight they can carry on an axle? How much do they cost and where can I purchase them? Any website? Thanks
I shipped a set overseas and it really wasnt that much to ship them(relatively speaking). The one thing we did was remove the tires to reduce size and weight.I kept them for spares and he sourced some locally. The money saved by reducing the size/weight essentially paid for the tires because it kept the packages under a certain limit. It's been a few years but I recall that once we went over a certain weight the cost skyrocketed. It's not going to be cheap but these are the best in the business.I've easily got over 50,000 miles of abuse on a set and I wouldnt think of using anything else.It might sound silly but besides how they work and the quality being top notch, the one thing I appreciate most is how balanced they are to carry.I have back problems and these are a lifesaver.
These are designed to be used with a tow truck. They are to raise the wheels off the ground for towing. For example you can use them to tow a awd drive car with a wheel lift, but if you were trying to tow a little Audi you could do so by driving the car on a normal tow dolly and then using these under the other wheels to get all 4 wheels off of the ground.Although I dont know if I'd recommend them for long hauls behind a RV.It would be hell on the small tires and wheel bearings so I usually keep them for jobs up to 50 miles max.Having said that you might want to give them a call and see what they recommend, chances are they'd be fine with a smaller car.I've probably put 50k miles on the one set I have before I needed to change the bearings ;-)
Before 1972 it was pan dollies "heavy & horrible" than Collins dollies came out & these in the ditch dollies came out & are not as quality as Collins , but either way in the past 50 years dollies haven't improved other than the lighter but weaker aluminum bars, all dollies are heavy & awkward & makes the job miserable! why the industry hasn't came up with A better idea in 50years is beyond me. & 1500 dollars for A set is another joke .
they suck just like the rest of them sorry for you and your 7 peace 17 actions of movement ever time you use them dollies way to much work they are better not by much have a good day nice try
Or you can rescue someones wife and children from the side of a dangerous highway, dark alley or deserted parking garage and so on ..............But hey i guess you either parked in a place you shouldnt have or didnt pay your payments since you met the downside of the towing business ;-)

Why not just buy an all terrain forklift.......
Extremely well thought out. The ability to lift either direction and the way it is done is ingenious.
You sir are a engineer and a craftsman. You just can't beat a man that does the job. Thanks for a great product and video.
This is a fantastic dolly setup. I've used it extensively, from distances of 0.2 miles to 44 miles without stopping.
Very nice engineering in the design. Easy to see some real thought has gone into every aspect of them.
Ingenious and brilliant design. A true master of work of art with simplicity in mind
Nice work guys. It's great to see a quality product that's made to last and be safe.
What an excellent design. !! I'm not even a two driver, but this item is well thought out.

Well done gentlemen! Thanks for looking out for us!
Yff
Very well done. Thanks for seeing a need (better dolly) and creating a better idea.

Nice! I have a 40' and might be a weight issue per axle and I would not want to have to stop very fast.Thx for the imput.
If the axle came with 4.80 wheels and tires, could you upgrade to 5.70 wheel and tire set up?
I just bought a pair today. Im excited as a kid on Christmas. i want to go to bed tonight with my dolly's next to me.
Very nice! Im curious, what is the speed rating for these dollies?
This looks like an excellent idea
Rather nice. Good safety features.
so how many miles without stopping can i tow a car for using these dollies
Extremely great to work with compared to Collings dollies

Great idea for moving cars. I'm sure it will work on whatever a veeeh-hickle is as well. :)
Nice Lista cabinets
What's the price on it and what the price would be to ship to Australia
Looks great. But do you have any videos of it in operation from start to finish including the towing around a corner ?

what is the speed limit on this one, how long can go as far as distance?
this is better than other dolly,,its easy to use,
Very interesting.
Can this be used on the motorway?
why do their new dollies fall apart at the welds???? there is even a recall notice that they sold faulty dollies
I’ve been using these dollies for over a year and they’re tough but heavy! But they’re tough because they’re heavy
I got a car in yard the rear seems lock up will theses work on dirt ?
We're do I buy this product
Where would one go to ask about this product and other information ?
Добрый день. Какой максимальный вес можно перевозить и на какой скорости?
You can walk the dolly 😱😱😱😱
Good thing. Can i use this to tow an AWD rear tires while the front ones are loaded on a tow dolly?

hola como puedo hacerlo para comprar este carro dolly saludos
hermes aguilar ordenes eBay ai esta
How much
Wow! Nice job!
A 30 day warranty umm..a life time warranty would be nice. What your saying is with in 30 days if it's going to break it will.
No brakes for the towed load would be illegal here. Max unbaked trailed load is 750 kg.
I'm sure that's not the case for tow trucks ...
very nice...better than the Collins brand dollies
Que bueno estupendo me gusta
Excellent! Thanks! Gordon
I Love it.
