- Winner of the Brickslopes 2023 Best Star Wars Vehicle award, the La Brea Class Cruiser was inspired by concept fan art from Ken Le Bras on artstation, found here:

While the art was amazing, as always, I needed to justify its existence in the Star Wars Universe, and give it a larger purpose.
Firstly, what the heck was on top of the ship? Secondly, was there a reason for its odd shaping, and thirdly, how big is it?
Well, to answer each of those in order, first, a Landing platform. Second, boarding ramps on the underside of the side landing pads, and third, at minifig scale...well, you can see for yourself!

This may be the best MOC I have ever seen. This is truly a piece of art, I understand the part about the instructions but if you ever make any please let me know because this is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, I think this could be called a work of art.

If this was a UCS set I would 100% buy it. A great option for a fig if it was a UCS would be a arm printed pilot or smth

Awesome! I think it needs a dedicated shuttle(s) or fighter, something like what we saw in Andor used by Corporate Security. Something small and angular. Even if it/the were only crewed by one pilot. Like a parasite fighter .

This is so impressive my man. It's always been a dream of me to make a fig scale capital ship.
This looks so incredible! There are even play functions, and on a MOC of this size! The interior is gorgeous. I absolutely love that meeting room in the front, the sliding doors, and the air traffic control station. This is truly an inspiring MOC and I feel lucky to have found you. Can't wait to see your future work!

Imagine if you make a 3D render of the design, get it properly textured then animated, with concept art of the design without the lego playfeatures of course and attempt to submit it to get it in lore would be great.
its cool as hell but manned aa turrets that have to be ran out and assembled in atmosphere that make it so you cant dock when on is a TERRIBLE idea for an exploratory vessel on EVERY level. first, open top means gunners can be sniped or picked up by flying creatures or animals taller than the ship or able to climb up it or jump down from a cliff and murder them. having to be run out and assembled means you have a time period where the ship is landed and vulnerable without the aa guns, and having one over the docking port means in an evacuation where you dont have time to dissasemble the rear aa gun you wont be able to connect to reinforcements or rescue at all! also, how do the ties stay attached? the gozanti has docking tubes under it to let pilots get in and clamp em on, not just magnets or something holdng the ties on top. aa guns and tie location aside, the ramp, command bridge, shield generator radar ATC combination, and interior are all awesome .

Wow! Crazy clean build. I especially love the functional lift. Play features like that add so much to a MOC imo. I gave up on Star Wars after ep VII so I have never seen this ship before.
