Finally tried 23 when it went on sale. Was very surprised. Franchise is very deep. Boycotted Madden in 2017. Axis will now get my money...gladly. Give Axis the college contract.
They really have done a great job and it's definitely worth our money more than madden and it's 80$ roster update we have been getting every year for ages now.

Love Axis but one thing I've noticed in 23 is it's hard to run the ball now. I can only get 2-3 yards per run. Also, once the QB steps over the line of scrimmage, he runs extremely slow as if he's running in slo-mo and it's very noticeable. Idk, but has anyone else noticed this in Axis Football 23 after all the updates? I can see not making big runs all the time on every play, but when you can only run 2-3 yards on every run play it's kinda frustrating. Also, it's weird that a QB will have an A for speed but he runs like he's walking when scrambling. I think leaving the running and QB scrambles the way they were before, but nerfing the defense to react faster would make the game more balanced because it's to the point where I only want to throw the ball and I just avoid running all together. With all that said, I still love this game and I want nothing but the best for Axis Football.
Yes I have! It’s like my QB just dies right there on the spot 😭 just make QB scrambling more… normal I guess. I love the series so much and I came in at 23, so I don’t have as much experience with the series as other fans, but yeah. Looking forward to playing 24.

I just got this game 2 days ago. It's great! I do think they did well with new animations. I feel the o lines block too good though. Next year please improve wide receiver DB collisions. Overall, this game improves every year and ill pay 20 a year to support axis great job 👍🏻
Good morning. My issue is with coach mode. The 2 minute drill is broken. The QB doesn’t make reads during that time. He forces the ball into DB’s regardless of his rating. If you’re down with 2 minutes or less in the game the QB does the same thing. Please fix this and coach mode will be great. It’s almost unplayable without the fix.
I’m steadily making my own college league for franchise, can’t do all the teams so I’m making the top ranked teams. Editing the players is a huge pain on console though so just doing the big name guys lol
I mean this looks kinda like the same game for the past 2 years now. I can see there’s different animations but that could have been implemented in last years game. We pretty much paying for new animations here… no new logos, no newer customization features like different helmet types, cleats, leg sleeves, no leg sleeves, gloves on or off option, wrist tape and more these are things that should have been added there really nothing new in this new upcoming axis football that is exciting… maybe except playbook editor. And maybe added a league with more than 32 teams like 120
a couple questions, 1. is it going to have aimed passing? I have only played 1 axis football game and i believe it did have it and its a fun different way to play than pressing a single button 2. whens the release aimed for?
@@Fork.lI’m not gonna lie get 23 if it’s on sale because from what I’m seeing they slapped a sticker on a crack don’t get me wrong I got 23 bought it for 20$ (Xbox) it’s worth it but if you seriously play, you won’t have that much fun after a couple of days. the animations and plays get repetitive and it almost start to feel like madden on the hardest difficulty like for example I have a All-Star team(dynasty) and I hit the Super Bowl four times and I lost every game the exact same way to a team that’s either worse or horribly worse and it all kind of played out the same last play The score is tied with seconds on the clock and of course they’re going for it you pick man coverage or zone coverage, of course and I watch my cornerbacks that are literally almost the fastest in the league get dusted by one of their worst wide receivers for touchdown now I know you might be reading this and say you might just be trash but I tell you that only my last two controllers only know what happened that day. The game does get a little “scripted ” per say like madden, and when it happens on the worst times, and worst games to lose like the Super Bowl after playing all those games winning and losing it gets to a point where you just rather play madden because at least on madden you know your getting fucked in but axis you don’t you can only suspect and your suspicion will most likely be true I hate to say it, but other than that axis is a great studio “23 is a really good game in the dynasty manager aspect, but playing the game hands on will be fun, but after about the 3rd day which I have (6d 19H 15M) it will be a task playing it without getting screwed over on obvious plays but other than that man get 24 or 23

Please use the AI to do mo cap line 2K and EA used for Fifa and Basketball. It’s not expensive. The tools exist now and it’s very accessible. No reason no capping isn’t done from the actual video these days.
I play mobile but I'll always choose axis over Madden mobile, can't believe u can't play offline on Madden,they don't even have franchise mode lol axis all the way

Player movement is still ass. Why is it so hard? We had better player movement than this in ESPN football (2k4) and madden 04. Those weren't massive dev teams and technology was a lot worse back then!
It's the same game it's always been: The same horrible gameplay with players gliding as if they are being pulled by magnets, leading to the same problem with kickoff/punt returns/outside runs being broken. it's just that you have anti-madden sheep doing what they do every year: lie to themselves, pretending that each axis game is somehow a 'huge upgrade', when the bad gameplay is apparent every single year. And when the game releases, every year there are comments of the game being unplayable due to crashes, while others throw money at axis, with no intention to play the game.(because they know it's bad) And even the trailer itself is misleading, purposely zoomed out to try to hide the bad player models, and animations, and the so called 'new' stadiums appear to be no more than mere color palette swaps. Still bad graphics(even for indie standards), bad models, still to this day NO pass rush/block shedding animations. You have to be a biased anti-madden sheep being reason to even suggest that axis is any sort of alternative.

Every year has been an improvement on the last, compare that to Madden where each year more and more features are removed.
I hope scrambling be a lot better my QB had 93 speed but still very slow when he gets pass the line of scrimmage
