The early 2010s was the last hurrah for the 747s. The Dreamliners were finally coming out, and many airlines already adapted to the 777 models. I like both the 777 and 787, but I wish I can ride one 747 though.
From 05:21, landing in the rain looks great! The condensation and vortices off the wings are impressive. It's nearly as good as watching a wind tunnel test with ribbons of smoke flowing into the chamber.
Wow! That was the best collection of jumbo jets I've ever seen on TH-cam! Lost of interesting liveries too. Keep up the great camera work and editing :-)
My God!! The Go-Around in the last part was awesome. It would be nice, if possible, for NRT to have runways 10-28, that cross wind looks really horrible. Beautiful DVD, I'm going to buy it soon.
Tanay. Sweet memories 10 years ago oh man cant beleive I like new delta airlines dezine is very stylish planes land heavy rain THIS SIDE ITS also good miss old American airlines MANY planes no longer NOW exist sad BUT MEMORIES always alive.
@Itchhhh I don't think it was even close to stall speed. The camera angle and size of the aircraft gave the illusion it was moving slower than it was. It also looked as if he was going missed. You can hear the engines spool up like he was getting ready to climb. With full flaps, stall speed is way down there. But, I could be dead wrong! Been known to happen occasionally :)
I miss the time when all three United liveries were flying at once.
Same
Yes it's TRUE all past planes I miss now compare past airplanes ITS nothing.

Very sad but true. It was great to see all the UAL and DAL 744s at the start there. It's such a shame they are disappearing so quickly.
I really like your MiX of ANGLES in your videography.
I have watched this twenty times, and everytime I see something new I missed previously. Such a well made video.
Great preview! Didn't expect to see a Delta 757 in Japan!

I enjoy those shots of the big jets -- a whole lot of B747 and just one A380. Landing with cross winds in pouring rain gets my adrenaline pumping.

Nasty crosswinds in Tokyo. Meanwhile at 8:41 that dude is still trying to land!
Great video. I may purchase this one!

Great crosswind action! Its too bad JAL retired the 747. Ended an era.
dopeintegra unfortunately Delta and United's 747s are going the same way this year
What airline was that starting at 2:23, with what looks like Cyrillic lettering?? Sure doesn't look like Aeroflot...
I am surprised that there weren't any Singapore Airlines landing or taking off (unless I didn't see it)
Anyways, great video!!
aaaaahhhhh i miss that. Seeing A TON of UA and DL 747s, 757s, 767s, 777s, and A330s.......
