Vince, I love your conversion ideas...amazing! I've been taking notes as I'm working on a conversion of my own, a 2016 Jeep Compass for overland camping.
The drill stock is a good idea - i tried a similar table but the mild steel arm was too thin and way too bouncy, so I gave up on the design. Nice solution. (how much does a piece like that cost? I feel it would be expensive, but I have never priced it)
Thanks for commenting the five eights drill rod is not as expensive as you might think I believe you can buy it in 3 foot Links might cost 15 $20 maybe not that expensive for good material ok
Love your videos. Would you make a video of your cooking and propane setup please. I’m in a grand caravan too. Working on version 2. My husband said I should be able to cook in the van in stead of outside. Well, I have to say he is right, especially when it’s raining.
How much Weight have you put on the table do you know? Thank you for the video really cool , but I don’t have mechanical know how to make one of those. It would be nice if you sold the bracket , the bar in the table bracket/holder. I think I would be able to make the wood part of the table.💕
@@felicitycalf3479 Thanks for the nice comment I just don’t have time right now to make any additional parts I’m currently trying to get the van put together so that Tammy and I can head south we are wanting the beach bad
Thanks for watching and commenting welding machines are relatively inexpensive and not very hard to use these days. Meg welding can be learned so easily from TH-cam anybody with the interest I think should try
Vince, thank you for sharing your ingenuity with us! It's great to see someone else in a minivan living #vanlife Are you considering manufacturing these tables to sell? 💚
Thank you for watching and commenting I doubt I will make tables but I believe there are a lot of different ways to do what I did so by sharing I’m hoping someone else can figure out a way to do it for themselves
You could make minivan conversions for a living:-) Love the versitility of your table.

Thank you for watching and commenting I wouldn’t of thought you could cook in a minivan but surprisingly it works

Thank you for commenting the point of the video is to just show what is possible not necessarily to try to sell anything

Vince, great ideals and video presentation. We're did you find the front swivel seat ?
Thanks for watching and commenting I have a link To a swivel that is supposed to work on a grand Caravan store-bought not like the one I made
Functional & versatile engineering 🔧
Thank you
Great video you guys
Thanks Terry
I don't understand why Chrysler discontinued the swivel seats and removable table 2008-2010
