    napakaganda review sa lahat ng Toyota Raize na pinanood ko na review ito na siguro un pinaka-straightforward na review walang kemekeme.     Panalo pa lang talaga ang Toyota Raize Turbo D-CVT (Dual Cluth Continous Variable Transmission). D-CVT can deliver faster acceleration and better performance compared to traditional CVT systems.

    Waleh nman tlga shift shock ang CVT dahil waleh po physical gears dyan. Simulated gears, meron.
    My friend opted for the Tiggo 2 Pro than this Raize. Front fascia pa lng, alam na maporma. CVT din. Same rubber band effect and noisy engine when u floor the gas pedal It's already got some nice TOTL features below the 850k mark (may 50k cash discount pa) Meron siya old-school na hydraulic steering na pwd mag-leak : ) pero covered nman daw nung 5-yr warranty. Kumpara sa mas common/modern na electric-powered steering, mas ok sa road feel (more engaging ride) ang hydraulic.

    thank you for addressing the engine under cover... you guys are right.. baka may leak di mo makikita kasi walang mark sa pavement... and helps cool the engine pag walang cover.. at the same time yung height naman nya is mataas so yung small debris di papasok sa engine... thanks guys you saved me php6k for that cover...

      Thank you sir! That is just our little take on the engine undercover topic. There is a reason bakit sya wala in the first place as OEM. But if gusto nyo mag pa lagay. wala naman din problem. :) pero not bad kung mas makatipid kayo. 6k is still 6k that you can still spend on something else, like gas money. :)

      @@michaeldegracia9203 on our test drive we tried it on the highway and urban areas that day and we have 19km/L average fuel consumption. I think it will be more if driven it further pa. as per toyota Press Release for the fuel consumption of the Raize for city driving and long drives it will be at 19km/L which is the same naman din na nakita namin. but we have a friend that used his own personal Raize from manila-batangas vice versa, naka 25km/L sya. well more on the highway drive sya. pero i think 19km/L for average city drive is already good in our opinion. again we still have to consider pa din the heavy traffic and driver style of driving will be also a factor. this is just our opinion and hope it helps. :) Thank you!

    Meron engine under cover si honda. Not sure with brio tho. But jazz, city or higher models meron.

      it really depends naman din on different car models. mostlikely yan splash guards meron naman lahat. but for engine under covers, meron man o wala i think it should not be bad naman. maybe its a plus kung meron. :)

    its D-CVT, its new tech from Daihatsu..its a Dual CVT transmission...cvt belt drive when in low gear or low rpm, then switch to Gear trasmission CVT once hits high rpm, or high speed...thats the difference from the typical AT transmission...

    Sir how about comparing toyota raize turbo and t. Avanza G? Anong pipiliin nyo pa din. I agree po sa features ng raize than other units. Im in province of bukidnon. Mukhang mas okay pa din ang raize turbo for me ah.

      well the toyota raize and avanza are totally different category. raize is only a 5 seater and avanza is 7 seater. so basically it depends on your purpose of use. if you plan to use it and intent to have more passengers most of the time and cargo space. i think avanza is good. but if you plan to use it more on a personal use for city drive or road trips and more features. Raize is the best for that.

      those recals are from 2019 models. 2022 models po ang Raize na lumabas na sa atin. kung ano man po ang reason ng recall, i am pretty sure na naayos na yan for our local releases.

      You are a bit right naman... Maybe kasi sanay tayo on the old AT type shifters and mataas na din talaga yung console shifter yan din na pansin ko. Maybe it takes awhile to get used to it kung sanay ka sa AT shifter ng mga older models. :)

So far mas prefer ko lang naman yung shifter na manual mode kapag nasa twisty roads since mahirap mag paddle kapag lumiliko pero bihira lang naman yun. Anw thankyou for answering my question.

      Don't forget the Wigo also a Daihatsu. Altis is not Daihatsu. Vios, Altis, Fortuner, Hilux, HiAce, Innova, Corolla Cross, Camry...all original Toyota. Remember that Toyota owns Daihatsu.

      kahit naman CVT yan may speed/gear option yan pag sasakyan hindi lang sya actual gears. hindi naman yan scooter.

      you cant compare to almera because Almera is a compact sedan where is the raize is a subcompact mini suv

      Tolerable po ung road noise.
      Engine just purrs like a cat.
      Tires are not really that noisy.

      Raize is only 5 seater, 2 at the front, 3 at the back.
