Absolutely great! Today's workflow requires quick and easy processing without thinking about the 'how-to' and disconnecting from the real feel. Be creative and not a puppet master while finalizing anything. Thanks, iZotope!
I always appreciate iZotope’s innovation. I used to work there for many years and always appreciated the engineers commitment to not just doing the same old thing as everyone else. Way to go old friends!!
Always enjoy your videos Sam. Does this mean you will be doing a longer video on this later on? I'm having trouble with the presets. I'm finding I can only go through them using the arrows only. I cant click to open them all and choose from there. Nothing happens. Anyway, hope you do an in depth video. Cheers.
Idea: AI-Powered Visual Mixer This tool would use AI to scan each instrument's stereo image, category, and volume, then automatically pan it to a preset spot to prevent stereo clashes. This results in a cleaner, wider, and more balanced mix. It would also automatically gain stage each sound based on its volume. This feature would save a lot of time in mixing, especially for band, orchestral, and some EDM mixes. 🎧✨
I do this by using soothe to sidechain the dry signal against the reverb signal post Reverb, Is there anything about this process that improves upon that workflow or is it largely the same thing
Definitely not the same thing! Aurora’s adaptive unmasking sets it apart from other plugins. If you’d like to try it out, you can grab a free trial here: bit.ly/3ZOTrWK
Both use different methodologies, so the choice of which one to use really depends on your specific needs. You can check out this article for a comparison of the two: bit.ly/3zNWnbt

@@SamLoose Thanks for that; however, I also have all the exponential audio plugins and neoverb. Is there a new algorithm in Aurora? It just has very limited control over the reverb parameters.

@@usmankhan-vm2wj It wont and doesn’t need to, it’s clearing up space and controlling annoying resonances to give you a verb that fits into your mix no matter how bright or dark you make it. Insane time and cpu saver. You can do a trial for 14 days.
Its all built into one plugin, self bus feature and its purpose is for reverb. Basically, makes everything easy and clean. Tested aurora, valhalla with soothe2 and neutron unmasking. Aurora sounded the best, it really fits the vocals perfectly. Even with rap vocals, the reverb did not sound cheap. Vocals with good reverb and clarity.
Not exactly, a more similar comparison would be use a send and return with an unmasking plugin attached such as trackspacer. This can be a time consuming process if you are mixing songs all day. Honestly I was skeptical but this plugin is great and speeds up my workflow tremendously
this changed my reverb game for sure 💯
Anything that speeds up the workflow is a win

My favorite new reverb! :)
i like how it sounds. well done
This is awesome. Should we be expecting the Delay/FX version of this soon? ;-)

it's pretty good, for orchestral purpose I like "Hall" and "chamber" reverb

May i request adding the ability to EQ reverb only as a button option beside the Solo reverb button, thanks! love this

What's the advantage over sidechaining the reverb, which most people do nowadays?
I do this by using soothe to sidechain the dry signal against the reverb signal post Reverb, Is there anything about this process that improves upon that workflow or is it largely the same thing
Its basically the same, however the selling point of this one is that you just use 1 plugin for both the reverb sound and the unmasking
It is not the same, pls trial and really listen with your ears.
Good idea. How do you do that exactly? Do you just stick soothe before the reverb send?
Definitely not the same thing! Aurora’s adaptive unmasking sets it apart from other plugins. If you’d like to try it out, you can grab a free trial here: bit.ly/3ZOTrWK
Any use case for applying this to orchestral mockups? Would be good to see a vid on this. Cheers.

I already have it, thanks. But was keen to see any vids on how to use this for orchestral mockups (not just pop music), cheers.
I like founding these new plugins then emulating them in my stock plugins
But... Couldn't this be implemented into Neoverb instead of making and marketing yet another plugin?

Question for everyone who has this plug AND Neoverb...how does it compare and would you prefer Aurora over it? 🤔🤔🤔

Mr Lose, if I were to use a different reverb and the unmask module from neutron 4, wouldn’t that be the same thing?
It would do something similar, but you’d miss out on the lush sounds of Aurora 💚

Yes, you can solo the reverb and put it on an aux.
