This is 100% the best value option in my opinion. Features (camera, extend mop arm, hot water mop pad cleaning, solution tank vs proprietary) and performance wise I have been super satisfied with this vaccuum. We are are using this across our main floor and 100% hardwood.
Regarding the cleaning solution tank, the manual states the following under the instructions for filling the solution tank; “The cleaning solution will be added into the clean water tank automatically while working.” So I would assume it is used for cleaning and mop washing.
There’s a video on TH-cam where they disassemble the base and you can clearly see that the only pipe going out of the cleaning solution tank goes down in the washing mop tray. Therefore the solution is not added to the clean water inside the robot. Of course, given that the mop pads are washed before every cleaning session and several times during the session, they get the solution anyway, just not as extensively as if it was coming from the water tank.
You need to update it because all of those settings will change to the new version like on the x40 and x30. And turn the mop extension to high frequency
The vacuum comes with a bottle of cleaning solution that should last a couple dozen floor moping missions. The solution is highly concentrated so it doesn't need much. The vacuum has a 1 gallon clean water container that needs frequent refilling and a dirty water tank that must be emptied from time to time. The unit does have a water line input but it is not necessary to connect it - the clean water tank provides the water. We love our Drerame L10S Ultra. One of the best investments we've ever made.

My friend just got the L40 ultra and it’s pretty awesome! Makes me jealous cause there isn’t much difference to be honest! I spent so much on the X40🤣
Right on!

Can this be based in a carpeted room?
Just bought one for Black Friday sales today, paid $792 CAD (about $560 USD) on amazon think I did pretty well! Looks awesome, arrives tomorrow.
Only see it for $899, where did you see it?
@@Jrekt Crap missed it! Hopefully there will be another on Friday!
@@flowerdealer Good luck! Side note I love it, works well.
Upgraded from and an old roomba i3 evo and man what a difference.
@@Jrekt Thanks, looks great!

Hey,thanks for the video. Can you please review newly launched L40 Ultra by Dreame
coming soon
does the Dreametech solution come with the robot? Also, do you need to connect the base to a water line?

Does dreame L10S ultra pro has side brush extender and detachable magnetic brush or only X40 ultra have it?
between this and qrevo master?
Do you think this one better than qrevo master? Thanks
As it doesn't have the LED light, does it do a good job at low light environment? Especially Object avoidance?
This or Qrevo Pro (Qrevo is like 100 bucks cheaper) ? thx
Will you be getting the new shark vacuum soon
yes in 2 weeks, they are so expensive I have to wait
This or roborock qrevo master/ cruv??
That should be the eufy x10 Pro Omni
How is this L10s pro ultra VS L20 ultra?
I got same issue with the water soap solution never been pumped out from the base
Any ideas how to solve this ?
i just moved the container in and out several times
Should do the firmware update and then do a quick re-test.
LOL but this unit looks just like the uvx 10 Promenade it seems like all the parts are in the same place as the x10
Its unfair to have a test without update the Software of the robot.
charging up to 100% and then looking for an update is what most should do 🙂
Agree
sorry about this, I did not know it was going to be that big of an update
I was thinking that you always update the firmware before you test it, and it was weird that you never did it on the Dreame.
1.5m in front is 4.9 feet
This or L20 Ultra?
