When the monitor on the right is put on an arm (instead of a stand) you can rotate the screen when needed. That way there's also more room on the platform for speakers (since those need to be at ear level as well).
Great desk setup E! I see you mentioned asking for suggestions about how to add or implement your gaming PC. My advice… it might be time to split your setups into two. One for work and the other for Play. I notice in the video you had ran into some cable management issues as a lot of your desk peripherals require a connection to the power supply. If you migrate the gaming PC, Nintendo switch and some other devices to their own desk I believe you can have a very clean, minimal and optimized space for working on TH-cam vlogs while the other desk can be geared towards relaxing, video games or watching movies. I really like your idea's for making a home made desk setup for various types of use instead of just buying a premade desk that can be expensive plus often comes with caveats for everyones personly likings and requirements. You have some great videos. Really liked the one with how you made a complete office setup standard Ikea stuff 👍 I'd like to see a video for a practical desk setup for people dabling in home studios for music production. You can buy big advanced desksystem that comes with all kind of options for mounting professional equipment and they cost a ton of money and never really found one for my likings. A dual monitor setup in the middle and a couple of 19" drawers for mounting gear to the sides that can be used for Speaker stands. And of cause the Keyboard drawer underneath the desk that have clearance enough for holding a 61-88key keyboard controller 😁
Since you have a very inexpensive desk tabletop, why not drill holes under your monitor shelf to conceal them better than routing behind the desk? You could also wrap in cable wraps as Eric Murano suggested to add to the concealment.
I have the standard glass but I’m debating about upgrading to the nano. Not sure if the nano would future proof once I move homes. I had my desk set up where I have big windows behind me but holy reflections. Ended up having to move my desk to where the windows are to my right and it’s better but not sure if I like this set up. I love the colors and sharpness but I might just suck it up because I hear the nano texture lowers the text sharpness
Hmm, it is for this reason, I have changed my mind on adding consoles/gaming to desk set ups. I'm now on the boat of work at the desk, play on the TV. It is also an added plus to get a break from the desk.
I don’t understand why quiet is a great feature 😅 I have 3 cats so I needed the largest and longest stand desk out there. For the wires it’s never perfect 🥲unless its all wifi or Bluetooth ahah… I use the metal wires that we find when unboxing new wires or whatever at hand to do my best not to see any

Got a dell s34dwg monitor, a Tresanti desk, mx keys and master, looking for a desk riser now
I would use a pair of arms to mount speakers on so it wont take space from the desk
