I'll never forget hearing Airwave for the first time back in 1999, I've got to admit without shame, it took my breath away and I shed a little tear in my eye, I was in a state of (I can't really explain it, but for the ones who did experience it will know exactly what I'm talking about). This is one of those tracks that made me want to create Trance music in the first place because I wanted to learn how to make such beautiful music, music that not only touches your soul, but your heart and mind. These types of tracks are not meant to be listened to, but for you to close your eyes and feel it, and to allow yourself to escape and meet yourself on the "Airwave". I feel sorry for today's generation because they have to listen to..........well we all know........ The commercial bs that doesn't do nothing.
Great comment. I'm 40 now and have never stopped listening to trance and its siblings. Sadly some people can't listen to instrumentals. They don't understand what we hear. We are all pieces of a whole that is crying out to be put back together. Music such as this brings us closer to that dream.
