Hi there! I already applied for jobs when I was still in the Philippines, but I got the job when I arrived in NZ. It actually depends on your profession, my work prefers people who are already here in NZ. But it depends, for IT, engineers, and medical field, a lot of companies are providing support with their visa so even if you are outside NZ they can offer you the job. We hope that helps, good luck!

You don't have to learn as a requirement to enter the work force. But the more time you spend in NZ you will pick up bits and pieces that you can use in daily conversations 🙂
