- This video is about “Najin Gukbap,” which is a must-visit when traveling to Yeosu.
The business hours are a bit vague, so it's open until 1pm, and I was barely the last customer.
It looks like you have to wait for the usual table seating program, but since it was a weekday, there were no customers waiting and we were able to take a seat right away.
After I sat down at the table, several teams behind me received deadline notices and had to go back without being able to eat.
It really feels like a long-established store with a long tradition.
I think this is a store that has been visited several times in TV programs.
There were many signs that famous celebrities had visited.
I ordered freshly boiled pork and soup.
Gat in braised gat refers to mustard kimchi.
Yeosu’s famous mustard kimchi is a must, right?
The combination of boiled pork and mustard kimchi is really delicious. If you want to eat a little more mustard kimchi, you must order additional mustard kimchi separately.
The boiled pork may look rough on the outside, but it is completely tender and delicious.
I now understand why people line up like this to come and eat.
When I took my first bite of boiled pork and mustard kimchi, I thought, “Wow, this is delicious.”
I ate various parts of boiled pork wrapped in ssam (ssam) and even dipped in seasoning sauce.
For two of us, we ordered a small plate of freshly boiled pork and only one bowl of soup. They gave us an earthen pot of soup, but the taste bowl was as generous as just a bowl of soup.
It had a different feel from regular pork soup, but if I had to put it into words, it was more of a rustic country taste rather than a sharp soup taste.
I would say it was a slightly different genre from the soup I had eaten elsewhere.
We ordered a little too much for two people, but we ate it very well without leaving a single drop of soup.
If you travel to Yeosu, I recommend stopping by and having a meal.
