hi cool idea! nice vid ! make me wonder what do you think about Reciprocating Saw Adapter Band Saw Blade Household Electric Drill Modified 7$ on AliExpress. would it work?? 🤔
I thought you had already uploaded a video featuring the pumpkin carver rake, (perhaps a similar penetration tester/locksporter) - this video is a better instructional video for this modification though. Thx Nic.
@LockPickNic my error, I have only been at Locksport for about 2 months & am still getting acclaimed to different individuals channel styles, nuances & content. - cheers Nic
I made one of these years ago (LPL I think was where I saw this first) but I still find raking by hand is better. And I am not good at lock picking. The guys that designed the modern rake are gods. But they do result in allowing almost just anyone to pick a lock. Which is scary.
I will say I also find raking by hand better as well, but I really enjoy little projects like this. I have already modded one to run on a higher voltage and plan on 3d printing a replacement shell for the motor. Just things to keep me occupied and pass the time!
Locks will only ever slow someone down. Unlocking a lock is an unnecessary luxury. Bolt cutters are extremely effective on most locks. For pretty much everything else, an angle grinder will suffice. If you know or suspect it’s got a tungsten/carbide rod in it, then you probably know about special “provision” you need to cut it
@ I be in Connecticut so we usually get a lot of good stuff being close to New York. I noticed my local Walmart didn’t have them so I’m checking stores like Big Lots, Ocean state job lot and Ollie’s but so far nothing 🤷
That's awesome! I'm definitely going to build one of these if I run across a little pumpkin saw 😊
Right on man!

Thx Nic.
I have uploaded shorts/reels featuring it, but nothing long-format, showing how to modify it - it must've been someone else.

No worries, my friend!

For sure.
Hmm I can’t seem to find in Canada, going to keep looking.
Party City!
Cool video brother
Thank you bud! I appreciate you!
I was actually looking for this after seeing your other videos. Couldn’t find one this year. Maybe next
Another comment says eBay has em! I got mine from Party City (in North America only, from my understanding - not sure where you're located)

@ oh wait I have Party City stores near me 🧐 15 miles closest one
Man, this is the Fluke buster of 2024!
Good job!
Good idea
Best of all, it's cheap!
That was clever
I have searched everywhere for it and I can't find it in the Middle East. Can you share a link for sale?
I'm sorry my friend, I don't know if they're available there or not. If you search "electric pumpkin carver" you may have some luck
Oh man, I’m going to try that
Can't beat the price of these things, that's for sure. Do it!
I paused the video and bought one. $10 on ebay.
Right on man!
