I love the concept of the Patrick Ta palette. Love the layout. But I truly dislike warm tones. I would LOVE for him to come out with a neutral/cool version!

I will never forget Michelle Phan using that exact cream eyeshadow palette from Revlon (only in a purple colour story) for an all-purple makeup tutorial in 2009. So weird to see it still around in 2022!!
I'm so glad you said the flower beauty palette makes your eyes look wrinkly. Every other youtuber sings its praises - and for good reason. The shades swatch beautifully, but they are so heavy and crepey on my eyes! I thought it was just me!

Try using it wet! It makes it a lot thinner
You can spray rubbing alcohol on the broken shade and just repress it. It works really well. I put mine in a spray bottle. Just saying. It does work, just use a paper towel, tissue or your finger to repress it and let it dry. Good as new. Has always worked for me.
For some shadows it ruins the powder and the pigmentation just won't be the same. For shimmer shades usually it can be pressed back into the pan as is, with mattes it's gonna need some help but the texture changes sometimes and it'll become really not pigmented and dry.
@@catrice1296 mattes are the only ones that needs alcohol though, shimmers are easy to press back in

I agree about the Jungle Lights palette. I started using a brush instead of my fingers to apply a lighter layer because I refuse to give up on that gorgeous lavender shimmer.

Yes! Do a look with the Athr rose quartz. I have this palette and it’s SO under rated! I’ve done a few looks and it always is a good shadow day for me. It’s SO pretty!! It has a romantic subtle natural but ethereal aspect to it that I haven’t found in another palette.

The major difference between the two Revlon cream formulas is that the palettes contain lanolin and the singles don’t. I know this because I’ve always been tempted by the palette colors and can’t try them because of my lanolin allergy.
Those Revlon palettes are fantastic and I’m an eyeshadow snob!
Thanks so much for your description about those Revlon palettes! I've been on the fence about them, and recently purchased...LOVE the way they look! Totally smoothing on my wrinkly lids, and the dry formula doesn't crease either, which is difficult to find for me. 😊😄

Yesss that brown shade in 52 degrees is so nuanced and beautiful. I will pat it out in my outer corners for some depth over any matte powder shadow. It makes every look instantly more beautiful

I find that mixing the pigments of the dessert lights palette (and the jungle palette) with a little water helps it look not as heavy on the eyes. 😍

Other then drooling over all the colors and shiny reflects the high light for me was the Athr pallet (please do a video on this one!) but the best most memorable part was the “whaat?!” you whispered. That cracked me up and now every time the occasion arises that’s appropriate for me to use it, I will and I’ll think of you and chuckle… ❤️ it! 😂🤗😘

Ok, hear me out. I have 2 of the Roen palettes and I am OBSESSED. Their newest one has the BEST glossy eye formula. They make your eye look juicy, with no shimmer, but it’s amazing. I also LOVE the 75 degree palette and they work BEAUTIFULLY together. Those are my personal everyday palettes. Best “put together” effortless eyeshadows that make me feel like a model off duty with no effort lol.

i want to try those Roen palettes so bad but i have hooded lids and feel they’ll just disappear. i love the color story in naked 3 too, i’ve made kind of a dupe of it over the years with single shadows. love cool taupey grey pink tones the most, but like warm tones as well. the huda rose quartz palette is my fave all around of recent memory 🤍

you should definately try the GlamShop PL eyeshadows, you could find affordable options, especially similar to pat (very wet looking eyeshadows) and very cheap

I bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 last year on a major sale. It isn’t my favorite palette, in terms of formula, but I also love the color story. The Athr Beauty palette is always sold out. I have the little quad.

Did you ever try the Vapour palettes? I really like the Vapour powder bronzer and so am interested in buying more from them, and the quad palettes do look pretty.

The Roen cool coned pallet has been calling my name for awhile also want the Ather beauty crystal pallet and the Huda quartz love want need so bad, I'm gonna ask for it for my bday this month and if I don't get it I'm just gonna buy it. U can tell ware my love is cool toned all the way, I feel like everyone is into the warm toned shadows and I'm the total opposite.

You saved me a few bucks when you used "heavy" and "wrinkly" in the same sentence when describing the Flower Beauty Desert Lights palette. At my age, those are two descriptors I can do without! 😂 I'd been looking at that palette for a while because the shades are so pretty, but...besides, with over a hundred palettes in my collection (and countless separate cream shadows), high end and drugstore, do I even really need it? Probably already have those shades many times over anyway.

How do you prevent the shades from the Roen palettes from creasing ?
Hi Amanda, Do you have any tips on what to do if certain creams or foil shadows make your lids look wrinkly or if a product looks chunky on the lids?
I just take a fluffy blending brush and blend over my eyelid to smooth it out. Not sure what else you can do.
If you want more naked 3 esc things , that type of mauvy colour story has been popular in Korea these days! I reccomend checkin out the TH-camr minsco for some reccomendations and good comparisons
There is almost nothing that is not rosegold or pinky brown, nudes with golden or champagne. i would love for her to explore more colours someday and challenge herself to do start to do something new. Been following her for a long time! 💖 not even the backdrop has changed in so long! I of course appreciate the fact that she keeps us up to date on the popular launches and her videos are so thorough and will continue to support her even if things are the usual colours 💖

Why did you delete my comment?! I'm confused because I never said anything rude, in contrary I was asking you for help in finding matte liquid and cream eye shadows. I've been a huge fan of yours for years, and I feel incredibly hurt that my simple request and sharing my disappointment that the Ulta Matte Cream Eyeshadow's are unavailable to your audience outside of the United States.
I'm sorry not sure why your comment wouldn't come up! I didn't delete it. I understand the frustration with the ulta matte cream shadows, I would love to find more alternatives this year. There has got be more lovely formulas to try. Never hesitate to reach out if you think one would fit the bill!
