Those Great Northern diesels are superb. I have a Lionel post war era EP-5 electric in the Great Northern paint scheme. It still runs very well. I have it pulling a set of Lionel aluminum passenger cars in Great Northern scheme. Its always looks great on the layout.

Thank you!! Probably spent almost 3 years on it 2016 till early 2019. We we racing all over in 2019 and We where house shopping for my wife and I. We planned everything out as the old layout was running. Then worked nonstop on the new layout. We had lots of stuff to begin with that’s how we did it so fast. Planning everything out almost perfectly is the key to successful layout and you waste less time pondering ideas and thinking at the layout itself

I like your choice in track. The middle rail is very well camouflaged. What kind of track is it?
Gargraves, IMO the best track for your $. Atlas is awesome looking but pricey. I wish we painted the track.
