George you said “it is paradise, can’t get any better than this” all the time and I have an explanation for it. It is because in places you go, you know how to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of each place. A person can be in the most beautiful place, but if they don’t know how to “stop, pause, slow down and smell the roses” as we say….they will miss the fact that they are in paradise. Paradise is still dependent on once outlook in life. 😊 so don’t feel bad that you say that all the time. It just says a lot about how you and Lucy view things in life!

Well the dinosaurs are monitor lizards and I think the bats are golden-crowned flying Foxes found only in the Philippines. So cool to see them just wandering around.
Koda can really learn talking fast because he imitates the words spoken by his parents. Koda most probably be a traveller and vlogger in the future because he has been exposed to these activities at a very young age... a baby and later a toddler. Enjoy your stay in that island. Watching from my home city-Cagayan de Oro City, Northern Mindanao.

They actually stayed in the Philippines during the height of the pandemic, including the whole lockdown period and even after that! They only returned to the UK to give birth to Koda and to finally see their family after a long time.
Even just watching, I feel very relaxed with the views in that island. It really is wonderful to see such a variety of animals just co-existing alongside humans. Koda is wonderfully curious and fits perfectly in this setting. These experiences are really enriching his young life. Again, thank you for taking me along. God bless!

I dont know if the trail upto the highest point in the island (Eagle's Point) is still accessible? When we went there decades ago there was a 'resident' Dugong swimming near the shore.
