And no matter how many years passes, more than half of the public will revile them so I think this is her way of doing damage control and gain support. Will it work? Not necessarily, but she's trying.

He only married Diana because she was young and “pure” at the time. He was originally trying to marry Camilla but she wasn’t a virgin & the firm didn’t approve of her. After he was denied to pursue any further courtship with Camilla he was willing to marry anyone at that point so that he can fulfill his royal duty as the next King of England (get married, have heirs).
Charles and Camilla both share in the blame for that.

The fact remains that Charles was not a suitable husband for Diana and Diana was not a suitable wife for Charles. She was much younger than him, they both had different interests and I believe they only met about 12 times before they were engaged. Charles’ reply to a question about love “Whatever love means” was a dead giveaway to the fact that Diana was not the woman he really loved. He should have married Camilla in the first place and if that had happened Diana would still have been alive in all probability and would have married someone else more suitable for her. She would have remained unknown to the public and been able to live a life without the constant intrusion of the media, a factor that greatly contributed to the accident that killed her. She would have been a much happier person without marrying into the Royal Family.
But we would not have William and his kids who are all adorable. The fair thing would have been to deprive Charles from the throne let alone Camilla.

He was effectively banned from marrying the one he did love and she married someone else. So he got on with it, the affair was wrong but he’s feelings must have got the better of him. Forcing him to fall in love with Diana was the mistake.
Finally a woman with some sense. Everyone else seems to be caught up in their feelings. He never loved Diana like he loves Camilla. Should he have stayed miserable in a marriage to someone he wasn't in love with? As lovely as Diana was, the chemistry needed to sustain that marriage just wasn't there. Ppl should be with who they love, and where the love is reciprocated. Just like Harry. He had all those other young ladies who other ppl thought were better for him, but he did not feel that way. He chose the one with whom he found the love and chemistry he was looking for. People need to get over it and worry about their own lives.

so where's the story that Camilla had Charles baby in their teens and had him adopted out? Simon Charles Dorante-Day is still promoting the belief he is their son....crickets? no story? it would take some brilliant sleuth to unravel that part of Charles life instead of the 'official' date claimed for when they 'first' met. Charles was sent to Australia and suddenly Camilla disappeared during this time. Did the Queen force them to adopt the poor little baby out from the shame it would have brought on their precious family?
