I love that sadako is just the villain from the ring series but people constantly turn her into a waifu for literally no other reason than she’s a girl
Turning horror icons wholesome is honestly a surprisingly untapped concept outside of stuff like this. It works surprisingly well seeing as how most of these characters are tortured souls, so it's very satisfying to see them happy and making friends/finding love.
