      The real deal Queen.. All this talk of colonialism and negativity, people dont realize all the benefits that came to society due to the Monarchy - things like stability, security, advancements in life, industry, medicine, development.. Humans from all walks of life and corners of the world who were part of the commonwealth strived to excel in all areas in the name of the Queen and monarchy. Without such stability, nations would be ruled by one dictator after another

    Dam that’s one hello of a convoy! What would they need Road sweepers and the other highways vehicles for?

    • @CobraEmergency
      @CobraEmergency  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      A lot of flowers and tributes were thrown infront of the hearse on more crowded parts of the route, the sweepers were so they weren't left in the road for the regular traffic. The other highways vehicles are to close the road if the convoy had to stop e.g. hearse brokedown and coffin needed to swap.
      Big isn't it!?

  • @markwright3161
    @markwright3161 ปีที่แล้ว

    When I watched the live TV coverage of this for a bit, there was a collision in the opposite carriageway at the bottom of shot of the footage from the helicopter. There was a line of vehicles siting in lane 2 next to the barrier similar to here, then a bit of open road behind them, 1 car was in lane 1, slowed dramatically and swerved into lane 2 as the procession started to pass them to get in behind the row of 'parked' cars, a car gaining in lane 2 had to brake more sharply than intended when they pulled across in front. A second car came down lane 1 that also slowed a lot given everything going on, then a black car came flying down lane 2, not paying attention to the road ahead travelling at normal road speed, so must have been around 70 mph, it swerved to the left of the car in lane 2 and appeared to smash into the side of the car in lane 1 as it tried to squeeze between the cars in lane 1 and 2, obviously not stopping, just as the helicopter panned around after the hearse.
    There were situations before that that made me think there was going to be incidents with how people were stopping, 'parking' and getting out of their vehicles/waiting often in the road, in or very near live lanes of active motorways/dual carriageways, possibly even be seen on camera, but I hoped I would have been wrong, but I wasn't.
