Coming from a guy who has had 100+ stitches in his leg from a cut from a chainsaw, dont worry about how the safety gear looks just wear it, I am lucky to still have my left leg!
I am writing this comment the next day after I watched the video I think that this is one of your best reviews I have seen since I have been watching videos from your channel this is one reason that I subscribe to the channel keep up the good work and the good videos thanks for sharing.
Never thought TORO was a real contender until watching your video. Seems like a good option going forward. I like you want to watch my impact on the environment and appreciate you showing us this line! Doug
When I woke up this morning I did not think I'd be watching a string trimmer review. ;) Looks like good stuff, but i will stick with my orange and white stuff until it falls apart.
Hi Josh, Since the blower isn't super expensive you should get 2 and mount them on the front corners of the quad. Leaf blowing finished in 27 seconds at 25MPH! :) Be well and all the best from California 💛
Hey Josh 🇺🇲 this was a great Vlog I really enjoyed it I watch every thing you post learned some things also thank you for having this TH-cam channel it's helped a lot of people 🇺🇲💯
Bought a Battery Chainsaw a few years ago, and then a Strimmer then a Hedge Trimmer. Would never go back to two stroke. The Battery Tools start every time - no messing. I bought Oregon brand and highly recommend as a hobbyist - it has a built in sharpener, and you don't need any spanners to keep chain adjusted. (Love Oregon but I do have a Toro Ride On Mower!)
I didn't even know Toro made cordless blowers. I have a Milwaukee M18 cordless blower that is pretty impressive. I just use it for blowing out the leaves in the garage. I have the big backpack blowers for the hard work. Great video Mr. Stoney Ridge Farmer!
I own several different landscaping equipment pieces. Some are gas, some are line-powered, and some are lithium-ion battery powered. I notice the Li-ion battery powered units give me maximum performance until the batteries are depleted. And, for whatever reason, 1969 Chevrolet pickups hold up extremely well. Good luck with yours.
I still have all my tune-up equipment from back in the day. I drive a couple of 2014’s, but I occasionally dig out the timing light, the dwell meter, etc. We had a 1974 truck on our fire department which was sensitive to timing issues. Some of the guys were amazed that I own a timing light.
I have some Stihl battery equipment. Never thought I would like it. I only have 5 acres. But I am impressed. I would love to try the chainsaw and hedge clippers.
I’ve got the Kobalt 40 volt weed eater , chain saw, and leaf blower. I love them! I grab the leaf blower and weed eater before my gas powered ones. The weed eater does my entire creek bank which is probably 300-400 feet on one charge.
Nice style truck bud very sharp looking and I know I had one and we put a 350in it cause it was a 6cylinder but after the change you could not keep the truck from smoking a tire off ..but beautiful truck ..I have a 68 ford ltd 2door and it's a solid car but I'm sell it cause I can't do half of what I want to .but is what it is ..godbless and be safe .and a big ....HAPPY THANkSGIVING ..
The tools look great. To increase the lifespan of those expensive batteries store them in the house so they are not subject to the hot and cold. We get some serious heat in NC in the summer. I am not far from your location.
Looks like some really well designed equipment love the videos. I’m not too far from you I’m actually just north of Eden in Virginia. Personally I love Milwaukee tools the versatility of being able to swap a battery from the lawn care, woodworking, and mechanics power tools is awesome. Hey Stony Ridge, see if Toro makes a pole saw and extension attachments for the weedeater that would be another good review as well and I know it will come in handy on the farm.
I do like the battery stuff .I have a craftsman set .a weed whacker and leaf blower ..the battery life is good on the weed whacker but the blower eats the battery right up but I still like the power ..
I really enjoyed watching this episode of Stoney Ridge Farm and, your enthusiasm is contagious. Do you know if TORO has a battery powered pole saw? I'm looking forward to watching your video of the 69' C10. I used to have a 67' C10 but gave it to my youngest son. I used to have a 69' SS 396 Chevelle also. Sure wish it was parked in my garage now. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments on your farm. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Sir. Stay safe. Stan
The safety gear is a necessity man doesn't matter what you look like, you still look better than the guy with half a face because he was too cool for ppe. I had a bad swing on an axe once and I cut clean through my boot and my sock and missed my foot, if I'd had sneakers on I'd have been in the ER getting a whole bunch of stitches. Stay safe out there and God bless.
A quick check at Home Depot on Thanksgiving Day shows the Toro Bare Tool at $147.34, the 60 volt battery at $212.93 and the charger at $79.99. Quite an investment to get started!
Holy Cow!!! I could totally use everyone of those tools! That hedge trimmer is awesome. I wonder if you can use a speed feed for that? The speed feed is a game changer imo. Is that weed-eater short? You appear to be bending over.
I'm a sub,I like your content that being said ( of course you're not going to give bad review) you should have compared the one you said torro blew out the water, C'mon any leaf blower with same battery no difference like that other you have that you won't say name, you know I'm just speaking freely & truthful, when you get a product probably Free or steep discount you agree to make that product shine, if you want to be truthful , honest, compare that with Ryobi or some other well known Brand, 1st vid I didn't watch start to finish stopped this at 3:32, you have a good, smart audience I'm sure they know the game , no standard to compare =+no results.. This vid is for us, your subscribes right ? Oops forgot about torro it's for them too hoping out of so many subs = a number of people heading out & buying torro products, thats the trade off that's what this is all about, if torro was subpar in your decision would you disclose it No why cause you made the choice with them about a positive review before vid was made, now if that they had no problem with you comparing with another brand & making your unbiased decision that would've been great for us but unfortunately that's not how it works if so you would have had to buy the equipment on your own no freebies, if I am wrong about any of this, let me know, we all have our pet peeves this is mine but I'm still going to sub because you put out good content to me this is not one of them that's all I'm glad and I hope you can agree to disagree Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family God bless 🇺🇸🦅🌏⚓ USMC
They have an Oiler same as a gas law the one I have is DeWalt and the oiler is not that great I already blew up one saw which they fixed under warranty thankfully and the new one same as the old leaks oil when it sits and you're not using it so you have to drain out the oil when you're done
You need some Darwin Grips for the string trimmer. They are game changers and will save you from a ton of back pain. Ballard Inc is the only place I know of that still has them in stock. The manufacturer has placed a hold on ordering due to supply chain issues.
I just bought a string trimmer with battery. Works well until you hit something hard like a cement block and mine bent the shaft and vibrated a lot. Returned it. Was not a toro but mine had a good warranty so got another one for free.
I am a 66 year old country boy born and raised.. you are the first person I have ever heard of blowing or raking or cleaning leaves off a road..I personally think the leaves look beautiful on the roads and in my yard..I just wait until spring and grind the ones in my yard with lawnmower and I figured it makes the grass greener.. sometimes the kids would rake up big piles and play in them and sometimes burn them and play in the smoke..it's ok with me if someone wants to do anything they want with the leaves..we would ride around in the city and pick up hundreds of bagged leaves and put them in our compost pile for fertilizer for our garden and plants..I just found your channel and subscribed. I am quite sure you are going to teach me some things I don't know..I believe nobody knows everything and I am always ready to learn something new.. You seem like a real nice guy like the rest of us country folks ..you can come by and sit on my porch anytime.. Thanks 😊
Yeah... between 8 and 11 seconds on this video should have an official graphic content rating. I will never be able to “unsee” that. I wouldn’t sell anything, just yet. Let’s see how it performs next season. It’s good to have alternatives, though... solar/gas/hydro to power what you need.
I think your channel is great and I think that most of the time you provide really interesting content and I enjoy watching. Unfortunately a lot of the time I feel that you are promoting too many products and to be honest when you start off talking about products I tend to turn you off I understand you have to make money and advertise this way you make money but I think there’s a fine line between what’s OK and what’s too much
I'm sure these battery powered blowers are nice and high quality, but they are for the fella that has a large McMansion on a 16th of an acre. They are not befitting a man who has a 150 acre farm. You need a big gas powered backpack blower.
Love it josh!!! Keep up the great vids man!!
Woooo!!! Tool Tuesday was so fun today!

Be well and all the best from California 💛
Had Toro snowblower for years of blizzards....great products
Just bought a house and opened new with battery power husqvarna. I love electric work equipment. So easy to start and cleanup is a breeze!
Right on Josh!
Looking good Josh. Place is coming along nice.
Hey Josh 🇺🇲 this was a great Vlog I really enjoyed it I watch every thing you post learned some things also thank you for having this TH-cam channel it's helped a lot of people 🇺🇲💯
Awesome stuff Stoney Ridge! Thanks for another awesome video! Happy Thanksgiving to the Stoney Ridge family!
Have both the blower an chainsaw, 100% impressed. Ended up buying both the split-boom trimmer and hedge clipper.
I've used the Toro hedge trimmer since the beginning of this year and I absolutely love it
That C10 (although it looks like a K10) is going to be a great project. I have a 69 long bed. Such wonderful and beautiful trucks.
Love watching the outtakes
Hi.... Thank you 🎥👍👍👍
Very cool tool Tuesday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to you and Mrs Stoney. Stay safe.
Thanks
Keep the videos coming Brother!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family
If you want a really powerful, I have a BillyGoat walk behind blower with a Honda 11hp engine! That thing can blow!

I'm thinking 60V beard trimmer.
Alright, made it to blowing the leaves. I'm convinced.

Hi Stonie bridge
Toro has allways been a good quality type of equipment just like the mower the are comfortable and very powerful and quiet ...whew.
The safety gear is a necessity man doesn't matter what you look like, you still look better than the guy with half a face because he was too cool for ppe. You have very green grass for this time of year! How'd you do it?
Does a electric saw oil it's chain or what keeps the chain cool never dealt with no electric saw I believe I stay with a gas saw
They have an Oiler same as a gas law the one I have is DeWalt and the oiler is not that great I already blew up one saw which they fixed under warranty thankfully and the new one same as the old leaks oil when it sits and you're not using it so you have to drain out the oil when you're done

Wonder how long the blower will last with the big battery and will it blow harder with it.
Hey stoney ridge I thought it's a k10 bc its 4x4. Love 67 threw 72 Chevrolet GMC trucks !
Toro also bought Ventrac
Josh are the singer of your entry song?
I just bought a string trimmer with battery. Works well until you hit something hard like a cement block and mine bent the shaft and vibrated a lot. Returned it. Was not a toro but mine had a good warranty so got another one for free.
I never would of guessed 6’5! You’re a giant! 😂
Toro also just bought ventrac
Haha "white oak, that's some hard wood!" down here in Australia that's about the regular hardness of most of our wood
Interesting.....what's the top 3 hardest woods you guys have down there?
I think those are what I'm getting when we find our property

You in Stoneville near Eden Josh
The blower held it's shape but seen the crack in the tube .but that's exspected
Toro is NO JOKE
You will use those tools for Many years trouble Free !
Lol very important belly button fact 🤣
Ouch 280 for the saw... everything else is 180$ tho
Heck they even got snow blowers and push mowers too
Batteries cost a couple pennys too lolol
Why blow off your road? Good informative clip.
How are they vs ego lineups ?
5:40 omg i can't stop laughing! 🤣🤣🤣

That was Toro Bare Tool Blower...
How much horsepower does that blower have?
First love channel
Aweomse! Thanks David!
Keep up great work sir God bless
Have you decided on a bigger tractor
Yep...I think so
The chainsaw is nice but brake seems like it is made cheep that what I thank but I could be wrong.
Man you remind me of my friend Aaron lol if I lived near you. We'd definitely be best friends haha
The only thing ill buy after buying my push mower is toro. They are quality 👌
👍👍👍
i wonder how the weed trimmer would do from toro
I'm sure these battery powered blowers are nice and high quality, but they are for the fella that has a large McMansion on a 16th of an acre. They are not befitting a man who has a 150 acre farm. You need a big gas powered backpack blower.

I too have a deep belly button. It's an innie.....innie.....innie
Likes to hear himself talk omg..
