But for foreigners, when we are trying to speak Japanese and when we just string words using Japanese brands in a sentence, people understand we are just being humorous. The intention is understood. And because we foreigners do not know how to pronounce the japanese words, it sounded funny to other foreigners when we try.
the conclusion is when you are the foreigner travel to japan and don't know Japanese language you will use word by word and body language like in this video.
this shouldn't be seen as an insult to Japanese, because people of many languages can't speak particular other languages well without a lot of practice, it is just when romanised all Japanese words must end in a vowel or "n" except Sony which should be sonii but wouldn't look right so is written Sony. it is simply where your tongue is when pronouncing, but with practice can be said correctly.
