Adesanya has fast hands and good combos. But boxing is different. His boxing is actually mid. Even for UFC standards. Boxing isn't just having fast hands and good combos. Strickland didn't win by fluke. He would beat Adesanya 10/10 times because Adesanya can't box and he can't implement his kickboxing style against those who can box.
idk if I'd put McGregor up above Poirier and Max. Poirier in their last two fights proved he was a much better boxer, and Max has clowned on fighters with his boxing.
McGregor vs Poirier 1 is a more accurate display. Poirier was an active fighter and long time lightweight when he rematched McGregor, who was passed his prime. In their first fight, they were in their physical prime, both active, both climbing the ranks, etc. Also I seriously doubt Poirier would find much success in pro boxing. He very much has an MMA boxing style. Not traditional. So McGregor is a better boxer
