  • A Taiwanese boxer at the centre of a gender controversy has fought her way into a medal position. Lin Yu-ting won her match Sunday, joining Algeria’s Imane Khelif in the semi-finals.
Their inclusion in the games has sparked a torrent of backlash but the International Olympic Committee has staunchly defended both athletes, confirming that they are both women.
    Bianca Facchinei reports.

The boxing association was knowingly corrupt and wouldn’t have over proof to back up what they said that they mysteriously had tests in 24 hours, thus not respecting her privacy in blurting that out to try to hurt it, yet saying they couldn’t show their proof, hence partly why they got rid of them . A professional organization wouldn’t disclose the reasons why you failed or passed and just announce it to all or answer every mob or witch hunt bc there’s too much prejudice. The truth is professionally silent like a Dr who doesn’t share your medical information

They were banned for just making accusations at an odd time after the defeat of a Russian boxer rather than before the matches or all those other times she fought and said they had results 24 hours later suddenly after a match and failed to show proof privately or disclosing methods to the OIC, yet blurted out inhumanly not respecting privacy at all
causing Imane great pain in life. They had many corrupt dealings prior to this and were banned from the IOC… just can’t blurt out or claim results without proof or explaining your methods because getting genetic results for me in a lab sure took longer than 24 hours. If the OIC does test people and they don’t want to be crudely invasive about it, truth would be quiet and private like signing forms like at a doctor’s office and not announced to the world, but only between professionals with a need to know. Don’t have out results or evidence to bullies or mobs…

Read the IOC doc on non-discrimination and inclusion (can’t link it here as my comment keeps getting tagged as spam) This is very interesting…. It almost ignores any genetic testing and implys that variations of gender identity are acceptable. I find it interesting that the IOC indicates the gender from a document perspective (like they have a female passport) but WILL NOT disclose how this is determined definitively My opinion….Anything other than XX genetically should not be considered for female competition…. Also XX individuals with elevated testosterone should (and are) also be ineligible as it is proven that elevated testosterone is a way to increased strength, endurance and muscle mass, and I might add, would also be considered doping for females over a certain level (no limit for males). So the IOC says that the IBA decision to disqualify was flawed…. But when you look at the document that I referenced above….. gender determination is fairly subjective according to the IOC ….thank you for being so WOKE …NOT…. So…. I am aware that this leaves out intersex individuals and other variations of sex chromosomes, however we MUST have a specific and enforceable metric for gender identity in world class competitions to ensure fairness and safety of participants.

“Feminists” are defending this crap, which is why I put the name in quotes. Feminism has been co-opted by an ideological cult that’s completely lost the plot.

It's disgustingly simple. You take a cheek swab, or a blood sample, and you test it. Whatever it shows, that's the reality. Period.
If they can demand and carry out random urine tests, this is nothing. Like a swab or blood draw is more humiliating than have to drop your pants and pee in front of a stranger? No way.

Idk about the Taiwan fighter but after doing research, the other fighter, inane khefla, who grew up in a very Muslim society identified as a female since birth with old photos of her at 5 in a old village, and apparently confirmed to have female organs.
Which means she/he or whatever the hell it is, could actually be intersex. This has happened before with an female African runner some years back and was temporarily disqualified until further testing.
However running is different vs fighting against a 100% biological female. She was tested with higher testosterone but she was knocked out 9 times. I just dont know what to say.

There's nothing more than a picture, and photographs can be retouched...so their validity certainly isn't guaranteed.
Get your head up. The IOC could have cleared this up by just re-testing the athlete(s) in question. But they'd rather carry on with this grift. They've essentially discredited the whole Olympics and what they stood for, permanently.

@@sadee1287 They go by the gender in their passports, which in the Algerian's case is female. You really think Algeria would allow people to change their gender on their passports, or allow an a trans athlete to represent them? It's illegal to even be gay there. This is why geography and some basic knowledge of other countries is so important. As realaebros said, she's probably just intersex. Now if you want to have a conversation about the fairness of intersex people competing with either sex, and whether they may have advantages or disadvantages and how those should be addressed, that's fine. But don't imply that this is somehow a "woke" or "culture war" or "identity politics" or "lgbtqia+ gone mad" thing. It has nothing to do with transgender or liberalism or wokeness. If you want to discuss the issue of transgender people in sport, that's fine, but it's a separate topic that is completely irrelevant to the Algerian woman.

But chromosome is what matters. That affects the body structure xy = male. Some people are born with both genitals but if they have xy chromosome their body grows like a male, even if they would have vagina. And I dont think he has womb in any case.
