*Great, stuff!* Phrasal verbs are like idioms, sometimes they don't make much sense. Sure, you can look them *up* , but try focusing on fewer to learn the ones you'll actually use! *Keep studying, guys!*

That was an awesome class, Emma. As usual. I'd say that a very useful way to memorize phrasal verbs is by creating sentences that make sense to the person's life. By doing that, whenever you're speaking the examples you came up with earlier will pop up into your mind and that will make them stick.

These days I hung out with my friends, it was really nice I can see they look after me very well. I took over the dinner's planning, and we had an awesome time together. At the beginning it was necessary to put furniture away since we needed more space to settle everyone down. When we finished eating and talking everyone helped to clean up the table.
    Is it okay?

    Hi Emma!!!
My girlfriend and I really love & follow your English classes every day cause you are a truly motivated & highly proffessional Teacher. We are extremely grateful with you. And the content of the videos is extremely useful. We are saving money to visit Australia for the first time late ‘20, and every day we spend 30 to 60 minutes to learn english. The only thing we do not like that much is the whistling background music (a bit annoying/disturbing). Keep up the good work, and thank you veeery much. Hope you visit our beautiful country someday. Greetings from Chile!!!

Then, i took over the car and i had to drive to their home. When we arrived, i had to help his wife to clean up all the mess in the car and putting away the bottles of wine that he drank.

Thank you Emma ! I am really grateful to you for all what you are doing to help us learning English ! Actually I have some questions about get/got/got and get/got/gotten (in US I THINK) I don't remember that I've noticed it before (gotten, is somehow strange to hear) , second question is about subtle usage of English, things that we don't pay to much attention to when speaking or practicing our English : like using Gerund (ing even after "to") and something we use "ing" even when it is not a gerund , it might seem easy , but actually it is not at all, when speaking we mostly make mistakes without noticing that , so please make a video about subtlety in English , things that the majority of learners don't pay attention to . THANK you EMMA

You've definitely highlighted Top most important issues regarding phrasal verbs. It's my burning ambition to use phrasal verb properly and naturally. As per your tips, I venture my journey of marking common phrasal verbs from the morning newspaper. I'll hopefully try to stick to your tips. However, It's my immediate reaction after watching your this lesson and It's also my 15th comment sequentially. I'm really looking forward to witnessing other valuable tips. By for now.

To "look after" means to take care of someone or something. For example, you can say " I need to LOOK AFTER my younger brother", or you can say" I am looking after my friend's books".
To pick up means to "collect someone or something" forexample, you can say " I have a car, I can PICK you UP". Or you can say "PICK UP the phone please" or you can say" can you PICK UP the rubbish please?"

Emma, I follow your classes such I follow the sun to get warm up my muscle, by far I carry on and working with my brain. My brain takes over my thought, and I am looking up to like an interesting teacher. Sometimes I call-off to attend appointments cause I have got no time to make up lies.I tell to my friend, Sorry I am late for the evening classes with Emma, and run away home.

Hello ma'am, Please help me with this. There are lots of phrasal verbs that convey the meaning by itself. Eg come over. Its very plainly means invite someone to come home(come over for dinner). And in wash up for eg, it's implied that it is about doing the dishes( i cook for him, he must wash up) or cleaning hands(supper is about done, go wash up).1 What do you call these kind of phrasal verbs? 2 How to find more such phrasal verbs like this. Please do reply. I can see you patiently going through all the comments and replying to many. Looking forward to watching more and more from you. Thank you.
