  • A set of Pocket-Rivet Style Fender Flares are a must have upgrade for any JK Wrangler that spends its time out on the trail. Featuring a rugged, wide pocket style design, these Fender Flares will give you the additional protection you need to shield your JK's body and paint from the stones and debris that get kicked up by your tires. Best of all, the wider width will provide you with the additional tire coverage needed when you go to install an oversized set of wheels and tires.
    Fender Mounted LED Lights. The manufacturer had the foresight to design its front Fender Flares with side marker lights. The amber LED side markers will make sure other drivers see you day or night, even from a distance.
    ABS Plastic Construction. These Pocket-Rivet Style Fender Flares are manufactured from an OEM quality acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material. ABS is an extremely strong material known for its light-weight, superior durability and impact resistance. Completed in a UV treated, matte black finish, these Fender Flares will look great for years to come.
    Bolt-on Installation. These Pocket-Rivet Style Fender Flares were designed to be a direct bolt-on upgrade using just basic hand tools and the included installation hardware. Please note that installation of the LED lights will require some minor wiring for operation.
    Application. These Pocket-Rivet Style Fender Flares; Matte Black are designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. terrain.jp/3vEHsuU

    You'll spend two hours alone just trying to get the fake rivets mounted with the included round-head screws. Do yourself a favor and go get some 1/4 inch hex head screws so you can get a wrench on them. There is not enough room to get a screwdriver on them. The rear fenders have to be considerably bent to fit the holes, but they do fit. If you are saving or leaving the wheel well liners the job is a bit harder because you'll have to get a wrench in behind them. I removed the front liners and re-mounted them after installation (easy). I had to leave the rear wheel well linings in place because there are two fasteners that rest under the new fender. I notched the linings about an inch in - so I could get a wrench on the nut. The fender lip covers the notch after it is screwed in. I had to start on the top, with the bolts - because the fender lip will prevent access if the screws are tightened down first. Install looks great in the end.

    Thanks for posting vid, what’s the point of cutting inner fender flares so low?

    You don’t need to remove all of the rear tail light screws only 2 needs to removed to get the tail lights out the 2 inside screw only

    You think you can paint these and make them look like Rubicon or Sahara painted to match fenders?

      With the proper prep you can definitely paint these to match! -Zach

    Though I liked these. But when I watched the video. NO way there not worth it. The wiring is a joke, and whats up with the amber rear light? Any light facing backwards should be red. Also tapping into the wiring like that. Just asking for green growth inside the harness soon.

    Do you need to run these with the liners or not?

      We suggest at least front liners to protect the side engine bay from kick up, mud, and water, but it's not required.

    How do you put the rivets on the fender?

    • @extremeterrain
      @extremeterrain  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry we didn't show it. They screw in with the provided hardware. You should be able to use a phillips head screwdriver and wrench to tighten them down.

      There’s a boat load of hardware! I’m still not sure how to get the rivets on… superglue anyone? 🤷🏽‍♀️

    Didn't show how much you cursed and yelled trying to secure those rivets! No room to screw them from the inside. Need a 90 degree Phillips screwdriver NOT INCLUDED. Plus, mine came without the standard plug on the front three lights, but the put the standard connection on the rear seat where you have to splice. Deranged Chinese manufacturing.
