A promo spot that aired on local Los Angeles television in 1979 for the first Lowrider Magazine Super Show. The female half of this somewhat silly talking-head duo is Cindy Garvey, then the wife of LA Dodger Steve Garvey.
No car ever mesmerized me like a lowrider, I seen many bad ass million dollar Ferraris and Rolls Royces but those cars were made in a factory but a lowrider is artfully customized by the owner and built with pride and love
Friend of mine headed that department of Lowrider magazine. Was also the guy who drew the covers for the Lowrider music CD's. Had totally forgotten about that Arté magazine. Thanks for the reminder!.. good day ;)
@@rosaazul88 That's cool.. hopefully your kiddos will appreciate them as you seem to have. Good luck on your quest (insert winky eye emoji here. I can't from this dinosaur cell of mine...lol)
Like my Papa use to tell me. Son, sometimes things are not always like they should be. A Los Angeles news reporter, and he does not know what a lowrider is! At least she does know something about the Lowrider.
This is a promotional video about the ''1st annual Lowrider Super Show 1979'' This is some rare historical shit right here, but this boboso and bobosa dont know what the fuck there talking about..Haha!
in that time and year i had heaven and hell station wagon murals done by Eliezer Carrillo from Santana car club oc and was about to buy my now second ranfla chuco1952 chevy bel air hardtop deluxe. both restored by me and bros at our family house in Santana oc. still have both and a master roadster 1934 chevy ragtop rumble seat ranflas.
It must be staged. He is a news reporter in Los Angeles, where lowriding is still very big to this day. And he does not know what a lowrider is. Please tell me this is not for real. No one can be that ignorant. Well, to my Lowriding Brothers and Sisters. Take care and may God bless and keep us all. Always cruising together. Love all of you.
