I think balancing 3 races in Broodwar was a piece of art.
Balancing 4 races is god tier.
Balancing 5 races seem to me almost impossible unless it has a lot of sameness with the other races. To have it balanced with 4 other races while having an unique character and playing style. Very very hard to pull of.
Is it confirmed that naga will be in custom games?

@@thijsjong Age of Empires does it with a bunch (8 for IV and a whole lot for II, not sure for III). They have a lot of overlap, but even so, they represent a challenge. Of course, the even greater challenge is to get back a functional Blizzard . . . .
@@Lucius_Chiaraviglio aoe 3 does it more than two , each faction is very much duferent from each other
@@thijsjong it ok if they weren't balanced.. Patch after patch..they will get balanced at the end

naga basically already is a playable race, they would barely need to do that much to it to make it competative with the other 4

looked like you almost threw at your expo fight xD you had two of enemy expos almost starting to mine as your allies so ahead 4 expos , it was their all in , you could have base traded , it was a very close and cool game

Best of Warcraft are team games. That's what it was design for. That's how we played when we were kids.
I wonder why blizzard doesn't create a Warcraft IV. But W3 it's really hard to improve substantially in terms of playability. Perhaps they may include new races and to increase the army capacity

i belive he explained in one of his videos (and on stream ofc) -- he was named Grubster back in SC2 days, but everyone was calling him short : grubby. so he kept it.

They should have all 8 players in order of rainbow:
(Pink | Red | Orange | Yellow) vs. (Light Green | Dark Green | Blue | Purple)
Own team: 4 variations of blue or green
Enemy: 4 variations of red (orange, yellow)
vice versa
