as a viewer the 4on4s are realy nice to watch. big epic fights where all you can see is death, big heros, big ults, salt... very nice

Late game 4s all about those expos and high level heroes. Pretty cool to see how 4s has transformed over the years.

Love the 4v4! It always pains me seeing an orc not get pillage in 4v4. I wonder if it's possible to do a no expo, pillage only play style that actually works in 4v4? Always a please to see you play.
Grubby played this a lot, mass raiders, constant harass to give time to your ally to scale. It does fall off though.

I don't know how the bottom was going but according to UD they were bleeding out in the long run. Sometimes you have to go for sacrifices to go for win.

Have you ever tried a 4v4 where you just didn't build any heroes? All of your XP would just go to your allies' heroes levelling a bit faster, would it not?
I'd like to see what damage bm can do in 7 seconds with a couple items vs a bladestorm. Maybe instead of outright increasing his damage in the patch, they should make critical strike applicable to bladestorm hits
Orc casters seem to be strongest in 4v4. Bloodlust and spirit link allies, plant healing wards for sustain, stasis ward to swing a fight in your favour.
Spellbreakers, bears, and priests w/ inner fire not to he underestimated either though. Buffing your allies just seems more efficient than trying to debuff the enemy (sorry undead).
Imagine the value of a faerie dragon in this game
6:13 didn't know you could get hex and windwalk at the same time.
4vs4 makes for really colorful action.
If you have spirit link on summonables and they get dispelled do you take that damage via the spirit link?

Killing 4 units within 7 seconds and removing half the health bar of far seer as collateral damage, surely Bladestorm is not strong enough, let's buff it more.

Not enough gold / time to make the switch I'd say. Most of the time he was under pressure.

Does pillage actually take enemy's gold and give it to you or is it just plain +1 gold/building health?
Pillage gives 50% of fully destroyed cost of building.
It doesn't take the enemy's gold, it just gives the pillager resources equivalent to a percentage of the building's cost.

have you tried to ctrl-group your mining-gold peons? or this is not very convenient?
idk why grub thought nether was strong. embarassing early game from him, always out of position, slow level 3, almost lost the side but grubby carried him well

That last fight, the entire team of wyvs only attacked 2.5 times for the whole fight. Don’t players realize how much DPS is lost by NOT attacking???
Wyverns are bad in most 4vs4 games anyways. Wyverns are glas cannons. So he didnt want to go deep. IMHO he didnt counter anything with that not even necros.
Orcs choosing to mass wyverns in 4v4 is a head scratcher… just make bats as anti-air instead.
2nd
